Algeria: Algeria’s President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has tested positive for COVID-19 and receiving treatment at a German hospital, the Algerian Presidency said in a statement.
Tebboune “continues to receive treatment in a specialized German hospital after catching the Covid-19 illness” and is “gradually recovering,” the Algerian Presidency said in a statement.
The medical staff reassured that President Tebboune is responding to treatment, and his health condition is gradually improving according to the requirements of the health protocol, the statement added.
On Oct. 28, the Algerian presidency announced that Tebboune had been transferred to Germany to conduct medical examinations based on the recommendation of his medical staff.

الجزائر: أعلنت الرئاسة الجزائرية عن إصابة رئيس البلاد عبدالمجيد تبون، الذي يتلقى العلاج منذ مدة في أحد المستشفيات الألمانية، بفيروس كورونا /كوفيد-19/.
وأفادت الرئاسة،في بيان نقلته اليوم وكالة الأنباء الجزائرية، بأن الرئيس تبون “يواصل تلقيه العلاج بأحد المستشفيات الألمانية المتخصصة عقب إصابته بفيروس /كوفيد-19/”، مؤكدة أن حالته الصحية “في تحسن تدريجي”.
وأضاف البيان أن “الطاقم الطبي يطمئن بأن الرئيس تبون يستجيب للعلاج ، وحالته الصحية في تحسن تدريجي وفق ما يقتضيه البروتوكول الصحي”.
وكانت الرئاسة الجزائرية، قد أعلنت في الثامن والعشرين من أكتوبر الماضي، عن نقل الرئيس عبدالمجيد تبون، إلى ألمانيا لإجراء “فحوصات طبية بناء على توصية من طاقمه الطبي”.
