Katara to open Amber Center

Doha: His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti, Director-General of Katara Cultural Village Foundation, opened yesterday, the Ukrainian Center for Amber, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Andriy Kuzmenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to Qatar, and a number of interested parties.
His Excellency the Director-General said that the Ukrainian Amber Center is a permanent exhibition that presents a variety of exhibits made of pure Ukrainian amber, which is known for its high quality and specifications, ranging from paintings, handbags and prayer beads.
He added that the exhibits will be replaced every 3 months and the pieces sold will be replaced by new pieces immediately, which allows amber lovers in general and those interested in Ukrainian amber to enjoy a fun shopping experience.
On the other hand, His Excellency Prof. Khaled bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti opened the “Fashion Pop Up” exhibition, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Andriy Kuzmenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to Qatar, and a number of interested parties. Twelve Qatari designers from various design and fashion disciplines will participate in the exhibition, such as abayas, women’s and men’s clothing, bags and shoes, and it will last for three months.
H.E. Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti said Katara is keen to support young Qatari innovators, innovators, entrepreneurs and initiatives in various fields, including fashion and innovation.

الدوحة: افتتح سعادة أ.د. خالد بن إبراهيم السليطي المدير العام للمؤسسة العامة للحي الثقافي كتارا أمس المركز الأوكراني للكهرمان، وذلك بحضور سعادة السيد أندري كوزمينكو سفير أوكرانيا لدى قطر وعدد من المهتمين.
وقال سعادة المدير العام إن المركز الأوكراني للكهرمان عبارة عن معرض دائم يقدم مجموعة منوعة من المعروضات المصنوعة من العنبر والكهرمان الأوكراني الخالص المعروف بجودته ومواصفاته العالية، وهي تتنوع ما بين لوحات فنية وحقائب يدوية ومسابيح. وأضاف، انه سيتم تبديل المعروضات كل 3 أشهر واستبدال القطع المباعة بقطع جديدة بشكل فوري وهو ما يتيح الفرصة أمام عشاق الكهرمان عموما و المهتمين بالكهرمان الأوكراني خصوصا من تجربة تسوق ممتعة.
على نحو آخر، افتتح سعادة أ.د.خالد بن إبراهيم السليطي معرض “فاشن بوب آب” بحضور سعادة السيد أندري كوزمينكو سفير أوكرانيا لدى قطر وعدد من المهتمين. ويشارك في المعرض 12 مصمما قطريا من مختلف تخصصات التصميم والموضة كالعبايات والملابس النسائية والرجالية، والشنط والأحذية.. ويمتد على ثلاثة أشهر.
وأكد سعادة أ.د.خالد بن إبراهيم السليطي أن كتارا تحرص على دعم المبدعين والمبتكرين وأصحاب المشاريع والمبادرات من الشباب القطري في مختلف المجالات ومنها مجال الموضة والابتكار.
