Aspire Zone Foundation delegation visits Ehsan

DOHA: A delegation from Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) has recently visited the Centre for Elderly Empowerment & Care (Ehsan).

This visit falls within Aspire Zone Foundation’s annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, which seeks to enhance solidarity between all members of society, particularly during Ramadan.

While visiting Ehsan, a number of employees from Aspire Zone Foundation and its Member Organisations — Aspire Academy, Aspire Logistics and Aspetar — celebrated Garangao with the elderly and shared the joy of Holy Month with them. Afterwards, Aspire Zone Foundation’s employees handed out gifts sponsored by Damas.

Commenting on the visit, Nasser Abdullah Al-Hajri, Director of PR and Communications at Aspire Zone Foundation, said: “These visits reaffirm Aspire Zone Foundation’s commitment to fulfilling its social responsibilities and stem from the employees’ desire to share the joy of the Holy Month of Ramadan with community members. We encourage all institutions in Qatar to implement such visits and to provide support for all vulnerable groups, including the elderly, the young and the ill.”\

The visit stems from Aspire Zone Foundation’s Ramadan CSR programme. The programme was launched two years ago and has become a key annual activity on the Foundation’s agenda, in line with the Foundation’s values: Accountability, Synergy & teamwork, Professionalism, Integrity, Respect and Excellence.

قام وفد من موظفي مؤسسة أسباير زون بتنفيذ سلسلة من الزيارات الرمضانية لمركز تمكين ورعاية كبار السن «إحسان» ضمن برنامج المؤسسة السنوي للمسؤولية الاجتماعية، والذي يهدف لتعزيز روح التكافل بين أبناء المجتمع وتكريس قيم المسؤولية والتكاتف التي تتبناها المؤسسة.

وكانت المحطة الأولى لسلسلة الزيارات الرمضانية لمركز تمكين ورعاية كبار السن «إحسان»، حيث قام مجموعة من المتطوعين من موظفي المؤسسة وأعضاء أكاديمية أسباير وأسباير لوجستيكس و»سبيتار»، بالاحتفال بليلة القرنقعوه مع نزلاء المركز، وتشاركوا فرحة الشهر الكريم مع من أفنوا أعمارهم في خدمة المجتمع.

وخلال الزيارة أحيا موظفو مؤسسة أسباير زون الاحتفال بالتقاليد التراثية لتلك الليلة بتوزيع الهدايا القيمة المقدمة من مؤسسة أسباير زون بالشراكة مع «داماس» على النزلاء، واستمتعوا بالتواجد بينهم في تلك الليلة كعائلة واحدة.

وقال السيد ناصر عبدالله الهاجري، مدير الاتصال والعلاقات العامة في مؤسسة أسباير زون: «إن سلسلة الزيارات تلك تمثل حرص مؤسسة أسباير زون على الوفاء بمسؤوليتها الاجتماعية، وتنبع من رغبة مؤسسة أسباير زون وموظفيها في مشاركة جميع فئات المجتمع الفرحة بالشهر الكريم، ونحن بدورنا نشجع جميع المؤسسات في الدولة وجميع فئات المجتمع على تنفيذ هذا النوع من الزيارات وتقديم الدعم النفسي والمعنوي لكبار السن، والوقوف بجانبهم وإحياء سنة التراحم خلال شهر رمضان».;
