Qatar ministry suspends registration and renewal of maritime vessels for three months

The Ministry of Transport and Communications has suspended the registration and renewal of maritime vessels for three months from May.

The decision is part of the efforts to the efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus in Qatar, the ministry added.

In an statement published on Twitter, the ministry said payable fees would be settled later.

علقت وزارة النقل والمواصلات تسجيل وتجديد السفن البحرية لمدة ثلاثة أشهر اعتبارا من مايو.

وأضافت الوزارة أن هذا القرار هو جزء من الجهود المبذولة لاحتواء انتشار فيروس كورونا في قطر.

وفي بيان نُشر على تويتر، قالت الوزارة إنه سيتم تسوية رسوم الدفع المستحقة في وقت لاحق.
