After complaints.. MoPH backs down from forcing citizens and residents to register on the online platform for arrivals

Doha: The Ministry of Public Health has backtracked on forcing citizens and residents to register on the online platform for arrivals in EHTERAZ app, declaring that it has become optional for citizens and residents and compulsory for visitors to the country.
The ministry of health’s new decision follows problems suffered by a number of citizens and residents on EHTERAZ app over the past 24 hours, since the ministry’s previous decision to require citizens and residents to register on the platform to enter the country which entered into force on July 12.
Over the past few hours, EHTERAZ app and its registration platform for arrivals to the state has responded to hundreds of applications as “under procedure”, leading to their questioning if the app was granting permission for citizens to enter their country, as well as their complaints about ticket and hotel reservations losses for them and their employees residing abroad.
They said they reviewed customer service and the hotline for “EHTERAZ” and did not receive satisfactory answers or information about their cases.
Citizens posted on Twitter using the hashtag #approval_to_enter_Qarar to complain about the platform’s problems, demanding the cancelling of the permission of the registration platform for arrivals to Qatar, which the ministry granted.
A few days earlier, the Ministry of Health had announced new travel and return policy procedures during which it announced that 11-year-olds and younger children would follow the same entry system as their parents, and unvaccinated children between the ages of 12 and 17 would have to undergo quarantine in accordance with the procedure for the country of departure, and if they were subjected to hotel quarantine, the children would have to be accompanied by one parent even if he/she was vaccinated.
However, it launched a new update the next day, excluding unvaccinated children between 0-11 years travelling of quarantine if they came from a green listed country and subjected 12-17 years to home quarantine. (5) Days if they come from a green list country, and unvaccinated children (0-17 years) are subjected to home quarantine based on the state of arrival classification “7 days for yellow states, (10) days for red states.”
The decision on children is currently under review by the ministry, pending the promise of a new decision by citizens and residents similar to lifting the obligation of registering on EHTERAZ app for arrivals to the state.

الدوحة: تراجعت وزارة الصحة العامة عن إجبار المواطنين والمقيمين على التسجيل بمنصة تسجيل القادمين إلى الدولة بتطبيق احتراز، معلنة أنه أصبح اختيارياً للمواطنين والمقيمين وإجبارياً لزوار الدولة.
يأتي قرار وزارة الصحة الجديد بعد المشاكل التي عانها عدد من المواطنين والمقيمين على مدار الساعات الـ 24 الماضية من تطبيق احتراز، منذ بدء سريان قرار الوزارة السابق بإلزام المواطنين والمقيمين بالتسجيل في المنصة لدخول البلاد ودخوله حيز التنفيذ اعتباراً من 12 يوليو الجاري.
وطوال الساعات الماضية، أجاب تطبيق احتراز ومنصته لتسجيل القادمين إلى الدولة على مئات الطلبات بأنها “تحت الإجراء”، ما أدى إلى تساؤلهم عما إذا كان التطبيق يمنح إذناً للمواطنين للدخول إلى بلادهم، فضلاً عن شكواهم من خسائر التذاكر والحجوزات الفندقية لهم ولموظفيهم من المقيمين خارج البلاد .
وقال هؤلاء إنهم راجعوا خدمة العملاء والخط الساخن نفسه لـ “احتراز” ولم يحصلوا على إجابات شافية ولا معلومات حول حالاتهم .
ودشن مواطنون على موقع تويتر وسم #موافقة_لدخول_قطر للشكوى من مشاكل المنصة، مطالبين بإلغاء إجراء موافقة منصة تسجيل القادمين إلى قطر للمواطنين، وهو ما استجابت له الوزارة .
وقبل أيام، كانت وزارة الصحة قد أعلنت عن إجراءات جديدة لسياسة السفر والعودة أعلنت خلالها أنه سيتبع الأطفال الذين تبلغ أعمارهم 11 سنة فأقل نفس نظام دخول والديهم، وسيتعين على الأطفال غير المطعمين الذين تتراوح أعمارهم ما بين 12 إلى 17 عاماً الخضوع للحجر الصحي وفقاً للإجراء المخصص لبلد المغادرة، وفي حال خضوعهم للحجر الفندقي يرافق الأطفال أحد الوالدين حتى لو كان مطعماً.
غير أنها أطلقت تحديثاً جديداً في اليوم التالي، استثنت خلاله الأطفال غير المحصنين المسافرين بين (0-11) عاما من الحجر الصحي في حال القدوم من دولة مصنفة ضمن القائمة الخضراء، وأخضعت ما بين (12 -17) عاما للحجر المنزلي (5) أيام في حال القدوم من دولة مصنفة ضمن القائمة الخضراء، كما أخضعت الأطفال غير المحصنين (0- 17 عاما) للحجر الصحي المنزلي بناء على تصنيف دولة القدوم “(7) أيام للدول الصفراء، (10) أيام للدول الحمراء.”.
يذكر أن القرار الخاص بالأطفال قيد المراجعة حالياً بالوزارة، في انتظار أن يبشر المواطنون والمقيمون بقرار جديد يماثل رفع إجبار تسجيل احتراز عليهم.
