Doha: Qatar Airways launched a strategic marketing partnership with Tourism Seychelles to support tourism recovery.
The strategic marketing partnership will spearhead recovery of tourism in the Seychelles with the two organizations collaborating to attract more visitors to the islands from across the world, taking full advantage of Qatar Airways’ extensive global network.
In anticipation of the increased demand for travel to the Seychelles, Qatar Airways has increased its flights to the island destination from three weekly to daily.
HE Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker said: “We look forward to working closely with Tourism Seychelles to support their recovery of their tourism sector.”
Seychelles Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism Sylvestre Radegonde stated: “As one of the first international airlines to return to Seychelles skies earlier this year, we are delighted that Qatar Airways is increasing its frequency to fly daily.”
Speaking about the increase in frequency of flights from Qatar Airways, Principal Secretary for Tourism Sherin Francis said: “We are anticipating a rise in demand for our destination in the third quarter of 2021 and it is reassuring for us to note that flight availability is not going to be an issue for travelers. The strategic partnership that we have recently established with Qatar Airways is one that we hope will grow from strength to strength.”

الدوحة: أبرمت الخطوط الجوية القطرية اتفاقية شراكة تسويقية استراتيجية مع مجلس السياحة في سيشيل، بهدف تمكين المسافرين من الاستمتاع بزيارة وجهاتهم.
وستقود هذه الشراكة مرحلة تعافي قطاع السياحة في /سيشيل/، حيث ستعمل الناقلة الوطنية لدولة قطر التي تسير رحلاتها من وإلى 140 وجهة حول العالم، على استقطاب المزيد من الزوار لزيارة جزر /سيشيل/، كما زادت الناقلة القطرية من عدد رحلاتها إلى هذه الوجهة من 3 رحلات أسبوعيا لتصبح رحلة يوميا.
وقال سعادة السيد أكبر الباكر الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة الخطوط الجوية القطرية، إن القطرية تتطلع إلى العمل عن كثب مع مجلس السياحة في /سيشيل/ لدعم انتعاش القطاع السياحي في البلاد.
ومن جانبه، قال السيد سيلفستر راديغوندي وزير الخارجية والسياحة في /سيشيل/: “إنه لمن دواعي سرورنا أن تزيد الخطوط الجوية القطرية من عدد رحلاتها إلى جزر سيشيل لتصبح رحلة يوميا، لا سيما وأن الناقلة كانت من أوائل شركات الطيران الدولية التي عادت إلى التحليق في سماء البلاد في وقت سابق من هذا العام”.
وفي معرض حديثها عن زيادة عدد الرحلات من قطر، قالت السيدة شيرين فرانسيس، أمين أول في مجلس السياحة في سيشيل: “نتوقع زيادة في الإقبال على وجهتنا في الربع الثالث من العام الجاري، وسيكون توفر الرحلات الجوية بالنسبة للمسافرين مدعاة للاطمئنان بالنسبة لنا، ونأمل في أن تعمل الشراكة الاستراتيجية التي أبرمناها مؤخرا مع الخطوط الجوية القطرية على نمو تعاوننا المشترك”.
