Doha: New graduates of Qatar Foundation’s Education City universities stressed the importance of graduates acquiring practical and cognitive skills, training courses and group workshops that make them able to adapt to the demands of the labour market, noting that universities offer students advanced academic skills to enable them to interact positively with the field.
They said in interviews with Al-Sharq: Some labor institutions and professional sectors are looking for new graduates with prior experience, and this is not achieved by everyone because they are recent graduates, and they have received field experiences only in laboratories, online classes and cultural and cognitive meetings, noting that they have modern university information that enables them to employ them in different fields of work.
They pointed out that it is the business environment that chooses the appropriate new graduates for the labour market, so it is necessary for all graduates to scrutinize the options of specialties, and to join required development areas while developing their passion and knowledge.
They noted that many institutions welcome new graduates in the fields of training, provide them with access to business environments, and this adds new experiences, stressing that it is the responsibility of new university students to develop themselves and look for the required disciplines in the labor market and look for renewal and continuous research that opens up serious opportunities for young people.

الدوحة: أكد خريجون جدد من جامعات المدينة التعليمية بمؤسسة قطر على أهمية اكتساب الخريجين المهارات العملية والمعرفية، والدورات التدريبية والورش الجماعية التي تجعلهم قادرين على التأقلم مع متطلبات سوق العمل، منوهين أنّ الجامعات تقدم للطلاب مهارات أكاديمية متقدمة لتمكينهم من التفاعل بإيجابية مع الميدان.
وقالوا في لقاءات لـ الشرق: إن بعض مؤسسات العمل والقطاعات المهنية تبحث عن خريجين لديهم خبرات مسبقة، وهذا لا يتحقق لدى الجميع لأنهم حديثو التخرج، ولم يحصلوا على الخبرات الميدانية سوى في المختبرات والفصول الإلكترونية واللقاءات الثقافية والمعرفية، منوهين إلى أنه لديهم معلومات جامعية حديثة تمكنهم من توظيفها في مجالات العمل المختلفة.
وأشاروا إلى أن بيئة الأعمال هي التي تختار الخريجين المناسبين لسوق العمل، وبالتالي فإنه يلزم من كل الخريجين التدقيق في خيارات التخصصات، والالتحاق بمجالات تنموية مطلوبة وفي الوقت ذاته تنمي شغفهم ومعارفهم.
ونوهوا أنّ العديد من المؤسسات ترحب بحديثي التخرج في ميادين التدريب، وتوفر لهم فرص الاطلاع والتعرف على مجريات بيئات الأعمال، وهذا يضيف لهم خبرات جديدة، مؤكدين أنه يقع على طلاب التعليم الجامعي الجدد تطوير أنفسهم والبحث عن التخصصات المطلوبة في سوق العمل والبحث عن التجديد والأبحاث المستمرة التي تفتح أمام الشباب فرص جدية.
