MOI: No exceptional entry permit to the country as of this time

Doha: Major Abdullah al-Jasmi, head of the administrative department of the Airport Passport Department at the Ministry of Interior, revealed that as of July 12th, with the lifting of restrictions, the exceptional entry permit for those coming to the country will not be required for residents and visitors with work visas.
If the conditions of residents conform to the conditions of entry into the country – they have a valid residence permit and have not exceeded six months outside the country – they can enter without an exceptional permit, Major Al-Jasmi said in an interview with Qatar TV.
He added: If residents have exceeded 6 months outside the country or if the residence permit has expired due to any circumstance, they can follow the procedures as they were before the airports were closed, i.e. by applying through Hukoomi website or Metrash2 and pay the scheduled fees and then return to the country.
Major Al-Jasmi revealed other facilities as of July 12th, including pre-registration on the online registration platform at Abu Samra border post and facilitating access and entry into a certain route of customs passports for citizens and residents of the air, sea and land ports.
He explained that registration will be compulsory for all citizens, residents and visitors with the attached PCR and external vaccination and the completion of the duration of 14 days, and the approval that determines the type of quarantine is obtained and if an examination is required, the passenger is examined and taken through a path from the door of the plane to the passports directly.

الدوحة: كشف الرائد عبدالله الجسمي، رئيس قسم الشؤون الإدارية بإدارة جوازات المطار بوزارة الداخلية عن أنه اعتباراً 12 يوليو الجاري ومع رفع القيود لن يكون تصريح الدخول الاستثنائي للقادمين إلى البلاد مطلوباً من المقيمين والزوار ممن لهم تأشيرات عمل.
وأوضح الرائد الجسمي في مقابلة مع تليفزيون قطر أنه إذا كانت أوضاع المقيمين مطابقة لشروط دخول البلاد – لديهم رخصة إقامة غير منتهية ولم يتجاوزوا مدة 6 شهور خارج البلاد – فإن بإمكانهم الدخول بدون تصريح استثنائي.
وأضاف: إذا كان المقيمون قد تجاوزوا مدة 6 شهور خارج البلاد أو انتهت الإقامة لظرف ما، يمكن لهم أن يتبعوا الإجراءات كما كانت قبل إغلاق المطارات أي عبر التقدم بطلب عبر موقع حكومي أو مطراش 2 ودفع الرسوم المقررة ومن ثم العودة إلى البلاد.
وكشف الرائد الجسمي عن تسهيلات أخرى اعتباراً من 12 يوليو الجاري تتضمن التسجيل المسبق على منصة التسجيل الإلكتروني في مركز أبو سمرة الحدودي وتسهيل إجراءات الوصول والدخول في مسار معين من الجوازات للجمارك للمواطنين والمقيمين المنفذ الجوي والبحري والبري.
وأوضح أن التسجيل سيكون إجبارياً لجميع المواطنين والمقيمين والزوار مع إرفاق البي سي آر والتطعيم الخارجي واستكمال مدة 14 يوماً ، ويتم الحصول على الموافقة التي تحدد نوع الحجر وإذا تطلب فحص، يتم فحصه وإدخاله في مسار يدخل فيه من باب الطائرة إلى الجوازات مباشرة.
