Internet and social media ads enter the homes of Qataris without censorship

Doha: Sorcery and magic, Fake marriage proposals, Unlicensed materials from the competent authorities and Others with unknown sources, even if they are counterfeit. Finally, products that do not respect the country’s customs and traditions.

The daily outcome of a series of advertisements on the local and social media sites which are entering the homes of people in Qatar, from advertisers who do not take into account the sanctity of religion or the privacy of this society, and its customs, traditions and values and its adherence to religion and morality.

Where is the Censorship?
Here are those who declare that they are capable of sorcery, bring the beloved and untie the bond, which are religiously and societally rejected and risk the owner of such claims to be punished by the law. There are also those who advertise fake products with unknown sources and may carry health harms more than their declared benefit.

This type of advertisements has recently increased, taking advantage of the families’ presence in their homes, and the high activity of accessing the Internet and social networking sites.

Activists on social media believe that the ads that stormed even on “WhatsApp” and phone numbers in homes have become a source of inconvenience to many, after they crossed all lines and targeted everyone at random and at disturbing times and advertising things unfamiliar and violates community standards.

Messages often are received on WhatsApp and e-mails from advertised companies, which send their offers to citizens and residents at random, without anyone asking them to provide such offers.

Unscrupulous advertisers also take advantage of the activity of government official agencies to serve the citizen and resident and clarify some decisions on social media sites, especially Twitter, to make advertisements that do not suit the morals of society.

Specialists and experts believe that these ads fall under cybercrime, in terms of violating the privacy of individuals and society as a whole.

The Ministry of the Interior defines cybercrime by infringing on the privacy of others and using their information to achieve personal objectives, a crime punishable by law.

Cybercrimes are reported by calling 2347444 – or via hotline: 668157577, and you can also report them by email: cccc@moi.gov.qr, or via the “Metrash2” app installed on your smartphone.

Some are demanding swift action against these accounts that enter the homes of citizens and residents, and try to lure them with their corrupt advertisements, but these crimes must be reported first to take the necessary action.

حصيلة يومية لسلسلة إعلانات في مواقع إعلامية محلية وعبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي باتت تدخل منازل الناس في قطر، من معلنين لا يراعون حرمة الدين ولا خصوصية هذا المجتمع، وعاداته وتقاليده وقيمه وتمسكه بالدين والأخلاق ..

أين الرقابة؟
هنا من يعلن أنه قادر على أعمال السحر وجلب الحبيب وفك المربوط، وهي أعمال مرفوضة دينياً ومجتمعياً وتضع صاحبها تحت طائلة القانون.. وهناك من يعلن عن منتجات لا أصل لها وربما تحمل مضار صحية أكثر من فائدتها المعلنة.

وزدات هذه النوعية من الإعلانات مؤخراً مستغلة وجود العائلات في المنازل.. وارتفاع نشاط الدخول على الإنترنت ومواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.

ويرى ناشطون على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي أن الإعلانات التي اقتحمت حتى “الواتساب” وأرقام الهواتف في المنازل باتت مصدر إزعاج للكثيرين، بعد أن تجاوزت كل الخطوط وصارت تستهدف الجميع بعشوائية وفي أوقات مزعجة وتعلن عن أشياء خارجة ومخالفة..

وكثيراً ما تصل رسائل على الواتساب والرسائل الإلكترونية من شركات معلنة، ترسل عروضها للمواطنين والمقيمين عشوائياً.. بدون أن يطلب منها أحد أن توافيه بالعروض ..

كما يستغل المعلنون، عديمي الضمير، نشاط الأجهزة الرسمية الحكومية في خدمة المواطن والمقيم وتوضيح بعض القرارات على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، وبخاصة موقع تويتر، لتضع إعلانات لا تناسب أخلاق المجتمع ..

ويرى مختصون وخبراء أن تلك الإعلانات تندرج تحت طائلة الجرائم الإلكترونية، من حيث انتهاكها خصوصية الأفراد والمجتمع ككل ..

وتعرف وزارة الداخلية الجريمة الإلكترونية بالتعدي على خصوصيات الآخرين، واستخدام معلوماتهم في تحقيق أهداف شخصية، وهي جريمة يعاقب عليها القانون.

ويتم الإبلاغ عن الجرائم الإلكترونية، وذلك عن طريق الاتصال على الرقم: 2347444 – أو عبر الخط الساخن: 66815757، كما يمكنكم الإبلاغ عن تلك الجرائم أيضا عن طريق البريد الإلكتروني: cccc@moi.gov.qr ، أو عن طريق تطبيق “مطراش2” المثبت على جوالك الذكي.

ويطالب البعض بسرعة اتخاذ الإجراءات ضد هذه الحسابات التي تدخل منازل المواطنين والمقيمين، وتحاول إغرائهم بإعلاناتها الفاسدة، إلا أنه يجب الإبلاغ أولاً عن هذه الجرائم لاتخاذ اللازم بشأنها .
