الرعاية الأولية تحتفي بحصول مختبراتها الطبية على الاعتماد الدولي

Doha: Managing Director of the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) Dr. Mariam Alabdulmalik confirmed that PHCC’s medical laboratories obtained international accreditation that reflects the expertise and excellence of patient care procedures, which indicate the adoption of the highest standards of quality and safety levels in all laboratories and provides the most accurate results in line with international standards.
The 27 PHCC laboratories obtained the accreditation of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) after completing the comprehensive inspection programs that were conducted in April as part of the accreditation program.
In a virtual ceremony, the PHCC honored the directors of health centers, district directors, and all workers in health centers laboratories on the occasion of obtaining accreditation.
Executive Director of the Operations at PHCC Dr. Samya Ahmad Al Abdulla confirmed that PHCC’s success in obtaining accreditation is the fruits of the efforts made and the harmony of the distinguished teamwork demonstrated by the employees during the COVID-19 pandemic and their full commitment to best practices.
In her speech during the virtual ceremony, Dr. Al Abdulla added that this would not have been achieved without the hard work and commitment shown by medical laboratories in all centers, pointing out that the accreditation is considered one of the highest quality certificates globally in the field of medical laboratories.
Obtaining accreditation requires passing rigorous tests in applying quality control practices, examining the qualifications of employees and technicians, equipment, facilities, occupational safety programs, record keeping, and the general and comprehensive management process of the laboratory.
By obtaining international accreditation, PHCC laboratories become the largest network of laboratories in the world accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) outside the US and one of the largest groups of primary healthcare laboratories in the public sector accredited.

الدوحة: أكدت الدكتورة مريم عبدالملك مدير عام مؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية أن حصول المختبرات الطبية بالمؤسسة على الاعتماد الدولي يعكس الخبرة والتميز الذي تكتسيه إجراءات رعاية المرضى ويدل على انتهاج أعلى معايير الجودة ومستويات السلامة في جميع المختبرات مما يوفر أكثر النتائج دقة بما يتماشى مع المعايير الدولية.
وكانت مختبرات مؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية، وعددها 27 مختبرا، قد حصلت على اعتماد المعهد الأمريكي لعلم الأمراض /CAP/، وذلك بعد استكمال برامج التفتيش الشاملة التي أجريت خلال أبريل الماضي، كجزء من برنامج الاعتماد.
وفي حفل افتراضي أقيم بهذه المناسبة كرمت مؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية مديري المراكز الصحية ومديرات المناطق وجميع العاملين في مختبرات المراكز الصحية بمناسبة الحصول على الاعتماد.
وأكدت الدكتورة سامية أحمد العبدالله المدير التنفيذي لإدارة التشغيل بمؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية أن نجاح المؤسسة في الحصول على اعتماد المختبرات الطبية هو ثمار الجهود المبذولة وتناغم العمل الجماعي المتميز الذي أظهره الموظفون خلال جائحة كورونا والالتزام التام بأفضل الممارسات.
وأضافت في كلمتها خلال الحفل الافتراضي أن هذا الإنجاز لم يكن ليتحقق لولا العمل الشاق والالتزام الذي أظهرته المختبرات الطبية في كافة مراكز مؤسسة الرعاية الأولية للحصول على هذا الاعتماد الذي يعتبر من أعلى شهادات الجودة حول العالم في مجال المختبرات الطبية.
يشار إلى أن الحصول على الاعتماد يتطلب اجتياز اختبارات صارمة في تطبيق ممارسات ضبط الجودة، وفحص مؤهلات الموظفين والفنيين، والمعدات، والمرافق والمنشآت، وبرامج السلامة المهنية، وحفظ السجلات، وعملية الإدارة العامة والشاملة للمختبر.
وبحصولها على الاعتماد الدولي تصبح مختبرات مؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية أكبر شبكة مختبرات في العالم معتمدة من قبل المعهد الأمريكي لعلم الأمراض خارج الولايات المتحدة وواحدة من أكبر مجموعات مختبرات الرعاية الصحية الأولية في القطاع العام المعتمدة من طرف المعهد.
