Doha: HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment, chaired yesterday’s morning the Council’s second meeting in 2021 at the Amiri Diwan.
HH The Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Deputy Chairman of the Council, attended the meeting along with HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, Executive Member of the Council and Their Excellencies the members of the Council.
The Council reviewed the decisions and recommendations made in the first meeting, and the project follow-up report. The council also discussed the country’s economic priorities and took appropriate decisions on them.
The Council reviewed the presentation on the challenges of the SMEs, the presentation of mechanisms and policies to support local products and increase their competitiveness, the anti-dumping law and the anti-cover-up law, in addition to the presentation on the application of local added value in the country.
The council also discussed the topics listed on its agenda and took the appropriate decisions thereon.

الدوحة: ترأس حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، رئيس المجلس الأعلى للشؤون الاقتصادية والاستثمار، الاجتماع الثاني للمجلس لعام 2021 بالديوان الأميري صباح الأمس.
حضر الاجتماع سمو الشيخ عبدالله بن حمد آل ثاني نائب الأمير، نائب رئيس المجلس، ومعالي الشيخ خالد بن خليفة بن عبدالعزيز آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية العضو التنفيذي للمجلس، وأصحاب السعادة أعضاء المجلس.
استعرض المجلس ما تم من قرارات وتوصيات في الاجتماع الأول، وتقرير متابعة المشاريع، كما ناقش المجلس الأولويات الاقتصادية للدولة واتخذ بشأنها القرارات المناسبة.
واطلع المجلس على العرض الخاص بتحديات قطاع الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة، والعرض الخاص بآليات وسياسات دعم المنتج الوطني وزيادة تنافسيته وقانون مكافحة الإغراق وقانون مكافحة التستر، بالإضافة إلى العرض الخاص بتطبيق القيمة المحلية المضافة في الدولة.
كما تناول المجلس الموضوعات المدرجة على جدول أعماله، واتخذ بشأنها القرارات المناسبة.
