Citizens to Al-Sharq: Those who neglected vaccination have imposed social isolation on themselves

Doha: A number of citizens stressed the importance of the decision of the Council of Ministers to require all employees and workers of the government and private sectors to conduct a rapid test of coronavirus weekly, for those who did not receive or complete doses of covid 19 vaccine, in order to ensure their safety and the safety of those around them and the public who deal with them directly on a daily basis, explaining that the vaccine has proven effective in preventing the infection of coronavirus, and prevents the transmission of the virus to others, pointing out that the vaccine has contributed to the decrease in the number of people infected in the country in a major way, and it increases the number of members of the community with immunity to infection.

They told “Al-Sharq” since the early days of the Corona epidemic (Covid-19), Qatar has taken a proactive approach in providing the vaccine to the citizen and resident, and was one of the first countries to obtain it, considering that the vaccine is the only and best way to end the epidemic and return to normal life. They pointed out that the weekly examination of employees is considered to be protective of them and protection for those around them, and it also creates a state of reassurance in different places, workplaces and ministries, especially employees who have direct dealings with the public and reviewers, pointing out that those who did not receive the vaccine have imposed social isolation on themselves, as they can not go to majalis or restaurants.

The Council of Ministers had obliged all staff and employees in the government and private sectors to conduct a rapid antigen test accredited by the Ministry of Public Health weekly for staff and employees who had not received or completed doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, and staff and employees who had completed vaccine doses and people who were infected and recovered and people who are unable to get the vaccine due to a health condition approved by a ministry medical report , had been exempted from taking the coronavirus vaccine.

الدوحة: أكد عدد من المواطنين أهمية قرار مجلس الوزارء بإلزام جميع الموظفين والعاملين بالقطاعين الحكومي والخاص بإجراء فحص الاختبار السريع لفيروس كورونا اسبوعيا، للذين لم يتلقوا أو يستكملوا جرعات لقاح كوفيد 19، وذلك لضمان سلامتهم وسلامة المحيطين بهم والجمهور الذي يتعاملون معهم بشكل مباشر يوميا، موضحين أن اللقاح قد أثبت فعاليته في الوقاية من الاصابة بفيروس كورونا، ويمنع من نقل الفيروس للآخرين، مشيرين إلى ان اللقاح قد ساهم في انخفاض أعداد المصابين في الدولة بشكل كبير، كما أنه يزيد عدد أفراد المجتمع المحصّنين من الإصابة.

وقالوا لـ “الشرق” منذ الأيام الأولى لتفشي وباء كورونا (كوفيد-19)، اتخذت قطر نهجا استباقيا في توفير اللقاح للمواطن والمقيم، فكانت من اوائل الدول التي حصلت عليه، معتبرين ان اللقاح يعد الوسيلة الوحيدة والأفضل لإنهاء هذا الوباء والعودة إلى الحياة الطبيعية.. وأشاروا إلى ان الفحص الاسبوعي للموظفين يعتبر وقاية لهم ووقاية للمحيطين بهم، كما انه يخلق حالة من الاطمئنان في الأماكن وجهات العمل المختلفة والوزارات، خاصة الموظفين الذين لديهم تعامل مباشر مع الجمهور والمراجعين، مشيرين إلى ان الذين لم يتلقوا اللقاح قد فرضوا على انفسهم عزلة اجتماعية، فلا يذهبون للمجالس او للمطاعم..

وكان مجلس الوزراء قد ألزم جميع الموظفين والعاملين بالقطاعين الحكومي والخاص بإجراء فحص الاختبار السريع لفيروس كورونا (Rapid Antigen) المعتمد من وزارة الصحة العامة، أسبوعياً، وذلك للموظفين والعاملين الذين لم يتلقوا أو يستكملوا جرعات لقاح (كوفيد-19)، ويعفى من إجراء ذلك الفحص الموظفون والعاملون الذين استكملوا جرعات لقاح (كوفيد-19)، والمتعافون من المرض، والذين تحول حالتهم الصحية، بموجب تقرير طبي معتمد من الوزارة، من أخذ اللقاح المضاد لفيروس كورونا.
