Locations to store vegetable transport carts are required in Al Sailiya market

Doha: A number of residents of Al Sailiya area, located next to Al Sailiya Central Market, complained that workers transporting vegetables and fruits hogged the street behind the market, which is a main pathway for the residents of the area, as a site for stopping and storing dozens of carts designated for transporting vegetables and fruits.

They called on the market management to work on allocating sites to store these carts instead of placing them on the road, especially as they may damage the vehicles in the event that one of the drivers collides with them, noting that the central market has many empty halls that serve as storage for carts and can be placed in one of the squares inside the market instead of leaving them in the street.

الدوحة: اشتكى عددٌ من سكان منطقة السيلية الواقعة بجوار سوق السيلية المركزي من قيام عمال نقل الخضراوات والفاكهة باتخاذ الشارع الواقع خلف السوق، الذي يعد ممرًا رئيسيًا لسكان المنطقة كموقع لإيقاف وتخزين العشرات من العربات المخصصة لنقل الخضراوات والفاكهة.

وطالبوا إدارة السوق بالعمل على تخصيص مواقع لتخزين تلك العربات بدلًا من وضعها على الطريق، خاصة أنها قد تؤدي إلى تضرر المركبات في حال قام أحد السائقين بالاصطدام بها، لافتين إلى أن السوق المركزي يوجد به العديد من القاعات الفارغة التي تصلح كمخزن للعربات كما يمكن أن يتم وضعها في إحدى الساحات الواقعة داخل السوق بدلًا من تركها في الشارع.
