Doha: With the entry of summer and the increasing temperature and the high demand of car owners on the shops of thermal insulation and window tint installation, it should be noted that it is required to abide by the traffic law and issue the necessary permits when installing colored or tint insulation, in this regard, Lt. Col. Jaber Mohammed Aziba, assistant director of the traffic awareness department in the traffic department in a special statement to “Al-Sharq”, said that the driver of the vehicle must know that there is a difference between thermal insulation and tint, as the thermal insulator is not coloured and contains no tint percentage and does not need in this case an installation permit as its function is to isolate the heat of the sun from the inside of the vehicle and is allowed to be installed on all sides of the vehicle and it can be installed on the entire chassis and has several uses including protecting the car and its structure and allows seeing the people inside the car. Pointing out that when the insulation is colored or tinted, it is treated on the basis that it is tinting and in this case needs permission from the traffic department to install it.
He added that tint comes in several different colors and percentages, which obscures seeing in, and is in several colors including dark tint, reflective tint, silver, and gold, and the aim of its installation is to limit the visibility of the driver and the passenger by his/her side inside the vehicle, where the traffic department determined the installation and presence of the window tint in percentages on the glass of the back seats in a car, while the driver’s side, the passenger’s side and front glass tint percentage was set at no more than 20% after obtaining a permit by Traffic Department.
Lt. Col. Jaber Aziba pointed out that the traffic department does not tolerate the violation of tint percentages either by shops or drivers of vehicles, as the inspection and control department passes on tint installation shops and customization shops, any entity which violates traffic law is immediately dealt with, closed for several months and fined where the penalty for offending shops is closure for one to three months.
As for the penalties against the owners of violating cars, the vehicle is seized for one to three months, and a fine of up to 1,000 riyals as a violation of the installation of window tint without a permit.
In the same context, during a tour of Al-Sharq on a number of thermal insulation installation shops, the high demand for the installation of the insulation was monitored during the current period of high temperature as the installation of thermal insulation reduces the temperature and the entry of sunlight into cars by up to 80%. The shops are active in installing thermal insulation of all kinds on cars of different sizes, and the price of installing thermal insulation ranges from 1500 to 3500 riyals for US Ceramics thermal insulation.

الدوحة: مع دخول الصيف وتزايد درجة الحرارة والاقبال الكبير من أصحاب السيارات على محلات تركيب العازل الحراري والمخفي وجب التنويه بضرورة الالتزام بقانون المرور واصدار التصاريح المطلوبة عند تركيب العازل الملون أو المخفي، وفي هذا الصدد قال المقدم جابر محمد عضيبة مساعد مدير ادارة التوعية المرورية في ادارة المرور في تصريح خاص لـ “الشرق”، إن سائق المركبة لا بد أن يعرف أن هناك فرقا بين العازل الحراري والمخفي، حيث ان العازل الحراري من غير ألوان وليس فيه أي نسبة مخفي ولا يحتاج في هذه الحالة إلى تصريح تركيب حيث انه يعمل على عزل حرارة الشمس عن داخل المركبة ومسموح بتركيبه على كافة جهات المركبات كما انه يركب على هيكل السيارة بالكامل وله عدة استخدامات منه حماية السيارة وهيكلها كما انه لا يعزل رؤية الأشخاص داخل السيارة.. لافتا إلى أنه عندما يكون العازل ملونا او مع المخفي يتم التعامل معه على أساس أنه مخفي ويحتاج في هذه الحالة إلى تصريح من إدارة المرور لتركيبه.
وأضاف أن المخفي يكون بعدة ألوان ونسب مختلفة وهو ما يحجب الرؤية عن داخل المركبة، ويكون بعدة ألوان منها المخفي الغامق، والعكس، والفضي، والذهبي، والهدف من تركيبه حجب رؤية السائق ومن بجانبه داخل المركبة، حيث ان إدارة المرور حددت تركيب ووجود المخفي بدرجاته على الزجاج الجوانب الخلفية للسيارات “زجاج الأبواب الخلفية”، بينما جهة السائق ومن بجانبه والامامي تم تحديد شروط تركيب المخفي عليها بنسبة لا تزيد على 20% بعد الحصول على تصريح من قبل ادارة المرور.
ولفت المقدم جابر عضيبة إلى أن إدارة المرور لا تتهاون فيما يتعلق بمخالفة نسب تركيب المخفي سواء من قبل المحلات او سائقي المركبات، حيث ان قسم التفتيش والرقابة يقوم بالمرور على محلات تركيب المخفي ومحلات الزينة، ويتم التعامل بشكل فوري واغلاقها لعدة أشهر وغرامات مالية لكل من يخالف القوانين المرورية حيث تصل العقوبة على المحلات المخالفة إلى الاغلاق لمدة تتراوح بين شهر إلى 3 شهور.
اما فيما يخص العقوبات التي تطول أصحاب السيارات المخالفة يتم حجز المركبة لمدة تتراوح من شهر الى 3 أشهر، وغرامة مالية تصل إلى ألف ريال كمخالفة تركيب المخفي بدون تصريح.
وفي نفس السياق وخلال جولة لـ الشرق على عدد من محال تركيب العازل الحراري، تم رصد الاقبال الكبير على تركيب العازل خلال الفترة الحالية التي تشتد بها درجة الحرارة إذ أن تركيب العازل الحراري يقلل من نسبة الحرارة ودخول أشعة الشمس الى السيارات بنسبة تصل الى 80 %. وتشهد المحال نشاطا في تركيب العازل الحراري بأنواعه على السيارات مختلفة الاحجام، ويتراوح سعر تركيب العازل الحراري بين 1500 و3500 ريال للعازل الحراري من نوع سرميك أمريكي.
