Strict conditions for Umrah offices

Doha: The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs issued a list of the names of Umrah and Hajj offices approved by it, which was updated by the Ministry, where the list included the announcement of 8 offices for Umrah and Hajj, among them are three new offices for hajj and umrah campaigns, namely the Bin Darwish Hajj and Umrah campaign, the Hajj Nsk and Umrah campaign, the Durra Makkah Hajj and Umrah campaigns, Al-Ansar Hajj and Umrah campaign, Al-Furqan Hajj and Umrah campaign, Labbayk Hajj and Umrah campaign, Hatem’s Hajj and Umrah Campaigns and Al-Quds Hajj and Umrah Campaigns.

A source told Al-Sharq that the new law governing the conduct of Hajj and Umrah campaigns has separated Umrah trips from hajj services, and said that the office either works in the field of Umrah only or Hajj, and in case of desire for joint work combining Hajj and Umrah, the owner of the office must submit a request to Hajj and Umrah Administration of the Ministry of Endowments according to certain conditions.

The source pointed out that the offices of Umrah announced by the Ministry of Endowments yesterday are in preparation for the next Umrah season and said in the meantime that the law regulating the work of Hajj and Umrah put strict conditions on the offices of Umrah campaign offices to ensure distinct services for the pilgrims, indicating that each owner of Umrah office is required to pay 300 thousand QR in refundable insurance to the Ministry of Endowments in Qatar as it is also required to pay 300 thousand QR in refundable insurance to Umrah offices within Saudi Arabia.

The source added that the tweet posted by the ministry on its official Twitter account yesterday, is an explanation after its announcement several days ago, about the seizure of 5 travel offices which organized Umrah packages without prior approvals and they were referred to the competent authorities. Al-Awqaf stated in a disclaimer that under the provisions of Law No. 3 of 2015 regulating the practice of Hajj and Umrah services, Al Hajj and Umrah Department of the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs seized five travel offices that organized umrah packages without prior approvals and referred them to the relevant authorities of the State to take actions, and the administration noted the need for the relevant offices and companies to abide by the provisions of the law.

الدوحة: أصدرت وزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الاسلامية، قائمة بأسماء مكاتب العمرة والحج المعتمدة لديها، والتي تم تحديثها من قبل الوزارة، حيث تضمنت القائمة الإعلان عن 8 مكاتب للعمرة والحج، من بينها 3 مكاتب جديدة لحملات الحج والعمرة، وهي حملة بن درويش للحج والعمرة، وحملة نسك للحج والعمرة، وحملة درة مكة للحج والعمرة، بالإضافة إلى حملة الأنصار للحج والعمرة، وحملة الفرقان للحج والعمرة، وحملة لبيك للحج والعمرة، وحملة حاتم للحج والعمرة وحملة القدس للعمرة والحج.

وقال مصدر لـ الشرق ان القانون الجديد المنظم لتسيير حملات الحج والعمرة عمل على فصل تسيير رحلات العمرة عن خدمات تسيير رحلات الحج، وقال إن المكتب إما أن يعمل في مجال العمرة فقط أو الحج فقط وفي حال الرغبة في عمل مشترك يجمع بين الحج والعمرة يقدم صاحب المكتب طلبا لإدارة الحج والعمرة بوزارة الأوقاف وفق شروط محددة….

ولفت إلى أن مكاتب العمرة التي أعلنتها وزارة الأوقاف أمس هي في إطار الاستعداد لموسم العمرة المقبل وقال في هذه الأثناء ان القانون المنظم لعمل الحج والعمرة وضع شروطا مشددة على مكاتب تسيير العمرة لضمان خدمات متميزة للمعتمرين مبينا أن كل صاحب مكتب عمرة مطلوب منه دفع مبلغ 300 ألف ريال كتأمين مسترد لوزارة الأوقاف في قطر كما هو مطلوب منه أيضا دفع مبلغ 300 ألف ريال كتأمين مسترد لمكاتب العمرة داخل المملكة العربية السعودية

وأضاف المصدر ان التغريدة التي نشرتها الوزارة على حسابها الرسمي بموقع تويتر أمس، تعد توضيحا بعد اعلانها منذ عدة ايام، عن ضبط 5 مكاتب سفريات نظمت رحلات العمرة دون موافقات مسبقة وإحالتها للجهات المختصة.. وكانت الأوقاف أوضحت في تنويه إنه بموجب أحكام القانون رقم (٣) لسنة ٢٠١٥ بتنظيم مزاولة خدمات الحج والعمرة، قامت إدارة الحج والعمرة بوزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية بضبط خمسة مكاتب سفريات نظمت رحلات العمرة دون موافقات مسبقة وإحالتها للجهات المختصة بالدولة لاتخاذ إجراءاتها، وتنوه الإدارة بضرورة التزام المكاتب المعنية والشركات بأحكام القانون.
