Fahes reveals plan to de-crowd vehicle inspection stations

Doha: H.E. Sheikh Hamad bin Saud Al Thani, Director of Fahes, revealed the company’s plan to ease the crowding of the technical inspection stations during the past few days.

The country’s technical inspection stations have experienced unprecedented crowds, recorded in hours waiting for the inspection turn, according to bloggers on Twitter.

His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Saud said – in statements to “Qatar TV” – that we are currently rehabilitating the industrial station, which was closed after the opening of Al Mazrooah, and it completely eliminates crowding in Mesaimeer and Wadi Al Banat, noting that it is one of the most crowded stations during the past days.

“We noticed that it is most crowded from 8 am to 1 pm, and from 4 to 6 at closing time and there are hours without any crowds, and we are currently working on an app that allows people to book the time they come and when they arrive, people before them would be finished with their inspection, so we distribute the numbers between people who booked an appointment along 12 hours of work, not 4 or 5 hours a day which is the main cause of this crowding”. He added.

“The design of the stations in terms of deployment, the customer ends in half an hour from the moment of registration to the moment of completion and this did not happen in the last days unfortunately, and we will work to correct this”. He continued.

Fahes manager also revealed a future plan to launch an app that gives you a certain station and a certain hour to go to check quickly, but now you can choose the place and booking which means prepayment, not booking an appointment.

الدوحة: كشف سعادة الشيخ حمد بن سعود آل ثاني، مدير “فاحص” عن خطة الشركة لفك الازدحامات عن محطات الفحص الفني خلال الأيام الماضية.

وكانت محطات الفحص الفني بالدولة قد شهدت ازدحامات غير مسبوقة، سجلت بالساعات انتظاراً لدور الفحص حسب مدونيين على تويتر.

وقال سعادة الشيخ حمد بن سعود – في تصريحات لـ “تليفزيون قطر” – حالياً نعيد تأهيل محطة الصناعية التي تم إغلاقها بعد فتح المزروعة، وهي تقضي على الازدحام تماماً في مسيمير ووادي البنات، مشيراً إلى أنها من أكثر المحطات التي شهدت ضغطاً خلال الأيام الماضية .

وأضاف: لاحظنا أن الازدحام في الأوقات من 8 صباحا إلى 1 ظهراً ، ومن الساعة 4 إلى الساعة 6 وقت الإغلاق وهناك ساعات ليس فيها أي ازدحام، ونعمل حالياً على إنجاز تطبيق يسمح للناس بأن يحجزوا الوقت الذي يأتون فيه وعندما يصلون يكون الحاجزون من قبلهم قد انتهوا من الفحص، وبالتالي نوزع عدد الحاجزين على طول 12 ساعة عمل، وليس 4 أو 5 ساعات في اليوم وهو السبب الرئيسي للازدحام.

وتابع: أن تصميم المحطات من ناحية الانتشار، ينتهي العميل في نصف ساعة من لحظة التسجيل إلى لحظة الانتهاء وهذا لم يحدث في الأيام الأخيرة للأسف، وسنعمل على تصحيح ذلك .

كما كشف مدير “فاحص” عن خطة مستقبلية لإطلاق تطبيق يعطيك محطة معينة وساعة معينة تذهب لها لتقوم بالفحص بسرعة، لكن الآن تختار المكان والحجز يعني الدفع المسبق، وليس حجز موعد.
