According to Sputnik, doctors have confirmed that mild coronavirus infection enhances lifelong antibody production, and the likelihood of coronavirus re-infection is very low.
The study, involving 77 volunteers, had a blood test every 3 months after contracting Coronavirus. Initially the levels of antibodies of participants decreased.
The figure later stabilized, according to a study published in Nature Magazine.
Scientists found plasma cells in the blood of people infected with Coronavirus and they remained present in the body even after 11 months of infection. These cells migrate to the bone marrow. where antibodies are constantly released into the blood.

الدراسة، شملت 77 متطوعًا، تم إجراء فحص دم كل 3 أشهر بعد الإصابة بفيروس “كورونا”. في البداية انخفضت مستويات الأجسام المضادة للمشاركين.
وفي وقت لاحق، استقر هذا الرقم، وفقًا لدراسة نشرت في مجلة “Nature”.
ووجد العلماء خلايا بلازما في دماء الأشخاص الذين أصيبوا بفيروس كورونا. وبقيت موجودة في الجسم حتى بعد 11 شهرًا من الإصابة. وتهاجر هذه الخلايا إلى نخاع العظام (نقي العظم)، حيث تطلق باستمرار الأجسام المضادة في الدم.
