People who recovered from Covid will be treated as vaccinated: Dr. Al-Maslamani

Doha: Dr. Yusuf Al-Maslamani, Medical Director of Hamad General Hospital, confirmed that covid-19 recoverers are being treated as recipients of the vaccine in relation to travel and return policies, where the recoverer has been immunized for 9 months, while those coming from other countries must complete the required procedures, namely, that he has received two doses of vaccine and that 14 days have passed from the time of vaccination, and if he is infected he must receive a second dose.

Dr. Al-Maslamani told Qatar TV’s Social Distance program yesterday evening: Recent updates on travel and return policies to and from Qatar have been imposed by family conditions in the GCC countries, and accordingly, GCC citizens and residents have a special status, due to frequent visits and the presence of joint families.

He added: “The vaccine recipients from GCC countries from citizens and residents are treated as citizens and residents of Qatar if they complete vaccination and 14 days have passed and can enter without undergoing quarantine, with a swab result proving virus-free before arriving in the country in addition to the vaccination certificate.

On the status of people who receive one dose of a particular vaccination and have to travel to study or otherwise and receive the second dose abroad of another type of vaccine, he explained that vaccination is accepted if it is among the six vaccines approved in the country, but manufacturers do not recommend mixing vaccines.

الدوحة: أكد الدكتور يوسف المسلماني، المُدير الطبي لمستشفى حمد العام، أنه يتم معاملة المتعافين من فيروس كورونا «كوفيد-19» معاملة من تلقوا اللقاح فيما يتعلق بسياسات السفر والعودة إلى البلاد، حيث أصبحت لدى المُتعافي مناعة لمدة 9 أشهر، بينما القادمون من دول أخرى فإنه يتعين عليهم استكمال الإجراءات المطلوبة، وهي أن يكون حصل على جرعتين من اللقاح ومرّ على التطعيم أربعة عشر يومًا، وإذا كان مُصابًا يجب حصوله على جرعة ثانية.

وقال د. المسلماني، لبرنامج المسافة الاجتماعية المُذاع على تلفزيون قطر مساء أمس: إن التحديثات الأخيرة على السياسات المُتعلقة بالسفر والعودة من وإلى قطر، فرضتها الأوضاع العائلية في دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، وبناءً على ذلك، أصبح لمواطني دول مجلس التعاون والمقيمين في تلك الدول وضع خاص، نظرًا للزيارات المُتكررة ووجود عائلات مُشتركة.

وأضاف: إن المُطعمين من مواطني دول مجلس التعاون والمقيمين في هذه الدول تتم معاملتهم معاملة المواطنين والمقيمين في قطر إذا أكملوا التطعيم ومر عليهم أربعة عشر يومًا يستطيعون الدخول بدون حجر، على أن يكون لديهم مسحة تثبت الخلو من الفيروس قبل الوصول للبلاد إضافة إلى شهادة التطعيم.

وعن وضع الأشخاص الذين يحصلون على جرعة واحدة من تطعيم معين ويضطرون للسفر للدراسة أو غير ذلك ويحصلون على الجرعة الثانية بالخارج من نوع آخر من اللقاحات، أوضح أنه يتم قبول التطعيم إذا كان من بين الطعوم الستة المُعتمدة في الدولة، إلا أن الشركات المُصنعة لا تنصح بالخلط بين الطعوم.
