Switzerland exempts Qatari arrivals from quarantine

Doha: The Federal Office of Public Health in Switzerland has announced that those coming from Qatar and additional countries will be exempted from quarantine requirements when entering the country starting May 20th
According to SchengenVisaInfo, the Federal Office of Public Health in Switzerland updates the list of countries and regions most at risk of contracting Covid-19.
According to the website, the Office removed four states and regions in Austria, France and Italy from the list, confirming that those from these countries and regions would not be required to be quarantined after entering Switzerland.
The updates included the exclusion of the following countries and territories from quarantine requirements: Qatar, Palestine, Poland, Serbia, Hungary, France: Brittany and Nouvelle Aquitaine region, Italy: Basilicata region, Austria: Upper Austria province and Salzburg Province.
The decision of the Federal Office of Public Health in Switzerland stipulates that all arrivals from the above-mentioned countries, who are allowed to enter Switzerland, are no longer required to be quarantined. However, they still need to have a “PCR” check 72 hours before entering Switzerland, and the result must be negative.
The Swiss Office said that if the passenger from these countries did not have a negative PCR test result, he would undergo a quick PCR check-up when entering Switzerland.
On the other hand, all people arriving in Switzerland from a high-risk country, including travellers vaccinated with the Coronavirus vaccines, must isolate themselves for 10 days. The Federal Office of Public Health in Switzerland added.
Switzerland plans to abolish quarantine for travellers who have received anti-Coronavirus vaccines and people who have recovered from the infection, the report said.

الدوحة: أعلن المكتب الفدرالي للصحة العامة في سويسرا عن إعفاء القادمين من دولة قطر ودول أخرى من متطلبات الحجر الصحي عند دخولهم إلى البلاد وذلك اعتبارًا من 20 مايو الجاري.
جاء ذلك -بحسب موقع SchengenVisaInfo- ضمن تحديثات المكتب الفدرالي للصحة العامة في سويسرا لقائمة البلدان والمناطق الأكثرعرضة لخطر الإصابة بفيروس كورونا “كوفيد-19”.
ووفق الموقع، أزال المكتب من القائمة 4 دول ومناطق عديدة في النمسا وفرنسا وإيطاليا، مما يؤكد أن القادمين من هذه البلدان والمناطق لن يُطلب منهم الحجر الصحي بعد دخول سويسرا.
وشملت التحديثات استثناء البلدان والأقاليم التالية من متطلبات الحجر الصحي وهي: دولة قطر، فلسطين، بولندا، صربيا، هنغاريا، فرنسا: منطقة بريتاني والمنطقة نوفيل آكيتين، إيطاليا: منطقة بازيليكاتا، النمسا: مقاطعة النمسا العليا ومقاطعة سالزبورغ
وينص قرار المكتب الفدرالي للصحة العامة في سويسرا على أن جميع القادمين من البلدان المذكورة أعلاه، المسموح لهم بدخول سويسرا، لم يعد مطلوباً منهم الحجر الصحي. ومع ذلك، لا يزالون بحاجة إلى إجراء فحص “PCR” قبل 72 ساعة من دخول سويسرا ، ويجب أن تكون النتيجة سلبية.
