500 building permits issued by the municipalities last April

Doha: The total number of building permits issued by all municipalities of the State in April 2021 reached 500 certificates with a general decrease of 58% compared to March.

Data issued by Planning and Statistics Authority showed that the decrease was noted in all of the municipalities: Um Salal (66%), Al Rayyan (64%), Al Sheehaniya (63%), Al Da’ayen (59%), Al Wakrah (54%), Al Doha (51%), Al Shammal (38%), Al Khor (34%).

According to their geographical distribution, the municipality of Al Rayyan comes at the top of the municipalities where the number of building permits issued were 162 permits, i.e. 32% of the total issued permits, while municipality of Al Doha came in second place with 105 permits, i.e. 21%, followed by Al Wakrah municipality of with 79 permits, i.e.16%, then municipality of Al Da’ayen with 73 permits, i.e.15%. The rest of the municipalities were as follows: Umm Salal 30 permits (6%), Al Khor 27 permits (5%), Al Sheehaniya 14 permits (3%), and finally Al Shammal 10 permits (2%).

In terms of type of permits issued, data indicates that the new building permits (residential and non-residential) constitutes 45% (227 permits) of the total building permits issued during the month of April 2021, while the percentage of additions permits constituted 51% (254 permits), and finally fencing permits with 4% (19 permits).

Villas’ top the list, accounting for 73% (135 permits) of all new residential buildings permits, followed by dwellings of housing loans permits by 18% (33 permits) and apartments buildings by 7% (13 permits).

On the other hand, commercial buildings were found to be in the forefront of non-residential buildings permits with 42% (18 permits), followed by industrial buildings e.g. workshops and factories with 28% (12 permits), then other non-residential building with 12% (5 permits).

Comparing number of certificates issued in April 2021 with those issued in the previous month we noted a general decrease of 15%. This decrease was clearly noted in most of the municipalities: Al Shammal (46%), Um Slal (36%), Al Wakrah (28%), Al Rayyan (12%), Al Daayen (11%), On the other hand, there was a clear increase in the municipality of Al Sheehaniya (33%), Al Khor (14%), Al Doha (5%).

It is worth mentioning that the release of this monthly data comes under the joint cooperation between the Planning and Statistics Authority and the Ministry of Municipality and Environment to make use of the existing electronic link between the two sides.

Building permits and building completion certificates data is of particular importance as it is considered an indicator for the performance of the construction sector which in turn occupies a significant position in the national economy.

الدوحة: بلغ عدد رخص البناء الصادرة عن مختلف البلديات في الدولة 500 رخصة في أبريل الماضي بانخفاض قدره نحو 58 في المئة قياسا بشهر مارس السابق له بعد تسجيل تراجع عام في كافة البلديات.

وأظهرت بيانات لجهاز التخطيط والإحصاء أن بلدية أم صلال كانت الأكثر انخفاضا وبنسبة (66 في المئة)، ثم الريان (64 في المئة)، والشيحانية (63 في المئة)، والظعاين (59 في المئة)، والوكرة (54 في المئة)، والدوحة (51 في المئة)، والشمال (38 في المئة)، والخور (34 في المئة).

وبحسب التوزيع الجغرافي، فقد جاءت بلدية الريان في مقدمة البلديات من حيث عدد الرخص الصادرة وذلك بواقع 162 رخصة أي ما نسبته 32 في المئة من إجمالي الرخص الصادرة في الدولة، في حين جاءت بلدية الدوحة في المرتبة الثانية بعد أن سجلت 105 رخص، أي 21 في المئة، ثم بلدية الوكرة بـ(79 رخصة) أي 16 في المئة، وبلدية الظعاين بـ73 رخصة أي 15 في المئة.. بينما توزعت بقية الرخص على أم صلال (30 رخصة)، و(الخور 27 رخصة)، و(الشيحانية 14 رخصة)، و(الشمال 10 رخص).

وشكل عدد تراخيص المباني الجديدة (سكنية وغير سكنية) 45 في المئة (227 رخصة) من إجمالي رخص البناء الصادرة خلال شهر أبريل الماضي، في حين شكلت تراخيص بناء الإضافات 51 في المئة (254 رخصة)، وتراخيص التحويط بنسبة 4 في المئة (19 رخصة).

وتصدرت رخص الفلل قائمة المباني السكنية الجديدة، حيث شكلت 73 في المئة أي (135 رخصة) من إجمالي رخص المباني المعدة للسكن، تليها فئة مساكن قروض الإسكان بنسبة 18 في المئة (33 رخصة)، ثم العمارات ذات الشقق السكنية بنسبة 7 في المئة (13 رخصة).

وفيما يتعلق بتراخيص المباني غير السكنية، فقد جاءت المباني التجارية في المقدمة وذلك بنسبة 42 في المئة (18 رخصة)، تليها المباني الصناعية كالورش والمصانع بنسبة 28 في المئة (12 رخصة)، ثم غير السكنية الأخرى بنسبة 12 في المئة (5 رخص).

وبخصوص بيانات شهادات إتمام البناء الصادرة عن البلديات في أبريل الماضي، تشير البيانات إلى تسجيل 334 شهادة بانخفاض عام قدره 15 بالمئة بالمقارنة مع شهر مارس السابق له.

وسجلت بلدية الشمال تراجعا بنحو (46 في المئة)، ثم أم صلال بنسبة (36 في المئة)، والوكرة بواقع (28 في المئة)، والريان (12 في المئة)، والظعاين (11 في المئة)، بينما سجلت بلديات الشيحانية والخور والدوحة ارتفاعاً واضحاً بواقع (33 في المئة)، و(14 في المئة)،و(5 في المئة).

يشار إلى أن إصدار هذه البيانات الشهرية يأتي في إطار التنسيق والربط الإلكتروني القائم بين جهاز التخطيط والإحصاء ووزارة البلدية.

وتكتسب بيانات تراخيص البناء وشهادات إتمام المباني أهمية خاصة باعتبارها مؤشراً تقريبياً لأداء قطاع البناء والتشييد والذي يحتل بدوره مكانة هامة في الاقتصاد.
