HIA offers facial recognition technology

Doha: Qatar Airways said that Hamad International Airport is one of the first airports in the world to provide facial recognition technology to provide a secure contactless flight, where flight information, passport and facial biometrics are integrated to create a single travel code at self-check-in desks.

الدوحة: قالت الخطوط الجوية القطرية ان مطار حمد الدولي يعد واحدا من اوائل المطارات في العالم التي توفر تقنية التعرف على الوجه لتوفير رحلة آمنة بدون تلامس، حيث يتم دمج معلومات الرحلة وجواز السفر والقياسات الحيوية للوجه لإنشاء رمز واحد للسفر عند مكاتب تسجيل الوصول الذاتي.
ودعت الخطوط الجوية القطرية مسافريها الى الاستمتاع برحلتهم بتجربة خالية من التلامس مع تقنية النظام الترفيهي الجديدة الخالية من التلامس ومنصة الصحف والمجلات الرقمية من بريس ريدر وقوائم الطعام الرقمية التي يمكن الوصول اليها عن طريق الاتصال بالانترنت اللاسلكي فائق السرعة على متن الطائرة.
وقالت الخطوط القطرية “تقع كليمنجارو في المنطقة الشمالية من تنزانيا وتعد وجهة المساحات الخضراء والطبيعة الخلابة”، مبينة انها تسير اليها ثلاث رحلات اسبوعيا وكشفت الخطوط الجوية القطرية تسييرها اربع رحلات اسبوعية الى لارنكا قبرص اعتبارا من 15 مايو الحالي مما يوفر خيارات سفر اكثر مرونة للعديد من الوجهات والمقاصد التي تضمها شبكة عمليات الناقلة التشغيلية.
