Transactions via E-Government Portal Increased by 5.3% in February

Doha: The Qatar Monthly Statistics bulletin showed an increase in the Total Transactions via Hukoomi e-Government Portal at a monthly rate of 5.3% compared to January 2021, and at an annual rate of 104.0% compared to February 2020.

The bulletin released by the Planning and Statistics Authority stated that the number of transactions via the portal reached 159,750 transactions in February.

The bulletin monitors the most important economic, social and demographic changes that the country witnessed during the month of February, in the economic, financial, social, water, electricity, traffic and other aspects.

Among the most notable changes is the increase in total deposits and total credit at a monthly rate of 1.3% and 0.8%, respectively (compared to January 2021), and at an annual rate of 3.7% and 7.6%, respectively (compared to February 2020).

The demographic statistics revealed that the total population of Qatar has decreased from 2.78 million during February 2020 to 2.66 million at end of February 2021.

As for the Social Security statements, reached QR 82 million in February 2021, for 14,615 beneficiaries, Recording a monthly increase of 0.02% and an annual decrease of 3.9%. for the value of social security and a monthly increase of 0.8% and an annual decrease of 5.8%. for the number of beneficiaries of Social Security.

Total electricity consumption during February 2021 was 2402.8 GWh attaining a monthly decrease of 6.2% and an annual decrease of 2.8%. While the total water consumption has reached 47522.5 Thousand m3 during the same month attaining a monthly decrease of 5.3% and an annual decrease of 4.1%.

Regarding the data of buildings permits issued, the total number of permits has reached 1,294 permits during February 2021, recording a monthly decrease of 6.4% and an annual rise of 94.9%.

Traffic accidents cases without counting the accidents without injuries, a total of 631 traffic cases were recorded during February 2021, showing a monthly decrease of 4.5% and an annual increase by 2.3%.

Light injuries are accounted for the vast majority of traffic accidents cases during the same month, with 89%, followed by severe injuries by 9%. However, 14 deaths were recorded, equivalent to only 2% of total traffic accidents cases.

The total number of registered new vehicles during February 2021 has reached 5141 new vehicles. The figure showed a monthly decrease of 6.0% and an annual decrease of 14.5%.

As for the Banking Sector; Total Broad Money Supply (M2) recorded about QR 598.1 billion during February 2021, an annual increase of 0.8% compared with February 2020. On the other hand, cash equivalents; including Commercial Bank Deposits, attained for QR 912.4 billion during February 2021. The figure has recorded an annual increase of 3.7% compared to February 2020, when deposits recorded approximately QR 879.5 billion.

وأوضحت النشرة، الصادرة عن جهاز التخطيط والإحصاء، أن عدد المعاملات على بوابة الحكومة الإلكترونية وصلت إلى 159 ألفا و750 معاملة في فبراير الماضي.

وترصد النشرة، وهي سلسلة تصدر بشكل شهري، في عددها الجديد أهم المتغيرات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والسكانية التي شهدتها الدولة خلال شهر فبراير الماضي، في الجوانب الاقتصادية والمالية والاجتماعية والمياه والكهرباء والمرور وغيرها.

ومن أبرز التغيرات أيضا، ارتفاع إجمالي الودائع وإجمالي الائتمان بمعدل شهري قدره 1.3 بالمئة و 0.8 بالمئة على التوالي (عن شهر يناير 2021)، وارتفاعا سنويا قدر بـ: 3.7 بالمئة و 7.6 بالمئة على التوالي (عن شهر فبراير 2020).

وأوضحت البيانات الديموغرافية، انخفاض إجمالي السكان في الدولة خلال فبراير 2021 إلى 2.66 مليون نسمة مقارنة بـ 2.78 مليون نسمة في الشهر المماثل من العام الماضي.

أما عن بيانات الضمان الاجتماعي فقد بلغت قيمته 82 مليون ريال، مسجلا ارتفاعا شهريا قدره 0.02 بالمئة وانخفاضا سنويا بنحو 3.9 بالمئة.. كما بلغ عدد المستفيدين 14 ألفا و615 مستفيد بزيادة 0.8 بالمئة بين شهري يناير وفبراير هذا العام.. بينما سجل انخفاضا سنويا قدره 5.8 بالمئة.

وبلغ استهلاك الكهرباء خلال شهر فبراير 2021 حوالي 2402.8 جيجا واط في الساعة، مسجلا انخفاضا شهريا بنسبة 6.2 بالمئة وانخفاضا سنويا قدره 2.8 بالمئة، بينما بلغ إجمالي استهلاك المياه 47522.5 ألف متر مكعب خلال الشهر نفسه، مسجلا بذلك انخفاضا بنسبة 5.3 بالمئة، على أساس شهري، بينما كان الانخفاض السنوي 4.1 بالمئة.

وفيما يخص بيانات رخص البناء الصادرة، فقد بلغ إجمالي عدد الرخص 1294 رخصة خلال شهر فبراير 2021 مسجلة بذلك انخفاضا شهريا بلغت نسبته 6.4 بالمئة، وارتفاعا سنويا قدره 94.9 بالمئة.

وأظهرت النشرة، أن عدد الحوادث المرورية دون احتساب الحوادث بلا إصابات، بلغ 631 في فبراير الماضي، مسجلا بذلك انخفاضا شهريا بنسبة 4.5 بالمئة، وارتفاعا سنويا قدره 2.3 بالمئة.

وسجلت الإصابات الخفيفة الغالبية العظمى من قضايا الحوادث المرورية خلال الشهر نفسه بنسبة 89 بالمئة تليها الإصابات البليغة بنسبة 9 بالمئة، أما بالنسبة للوفيات فقد بلغت 14 حالة وفاة تعادل 2 بالمئة فقط من إجمالي قضايا الحوادث المرورية.

وفيما يتعلق بالمركبات الجديدة المسجلة، فقد أوضحت النشرة أن مجموع المركبات المسجلة خلال شهر فبراير 2021 بلغ 5141 مركبة جديدة مسجلة بذلك انخفاضا شهريا بنسبة 6.0 بالمئة، وسنويا قدره 14.5 بالمئة.

أما بشأن القطاع المصرفي، فبلغت قيمة عرض النقد الواسع (2) حوالي 598.1 مليار ريال خلال شهر فبراير هذا العام، مسجلة بذلك ارتفاعا سنويا بلغت نسبته 0.8 بالمئة مقارنة بشهر فبراير 2020، بينما بلغت قيمة شبه النقد الذي يشمل ودائع البنوك التجارية حوالي 912.4 مليار ريال قطري بارتفاع سنوي بلغ 3.7 بالمئة مقارنة بشهر فبراير 2020، حيث بلغ إجمالي الودائع حينها حوالي 879.5 مليار ريال قطري.
