MoCI Announces Investment Opportunities in New Camel Market

Doha: The Permanent Committee for Central Markets Management at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced investment opportunities to lease the stores of the new camel market in the Abu Nakhla area, in cooperation with the Aswaq for Food Facilities Management Company, a Hassad Hassad Food Company subsidiary, and in coordination with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry today said that steps for offering, privatization process, evaluation criteria and tenant obligations in the new market have been defined.

The new camel market includes pens for selling camels, and stores for selling fodder, in addition to shops for various commercial activities to serve the market and its dealers (veterinary clinic, trade in veterinary supplies, a store for selling animal supplies and tools, a supermarket, and a restaurant).

The market also includes a camel slaughterhouse, which will be operated by the Widam Food Company, in addition to a room for owners of pens and shops and market visitors. There is also a service area for all dealers.

The investment opportunities that will be offered in the said market will reach 75 opportunities, including 30 for camel pens, 40 for fodder stores, and 5 other stores for various commercial activities.

The Ministry affirmed that these investment opportunities were presented in accordance with a policy that guarantees great benefit for tenants and consumers by setting up a mechanism that allows the tenant to obtain good investment by granting an appropriate rental price while adhering to some conditions and considerations that will maintain the continuity and the success of the markets, while giving an opportunity for consumers to obtain their basic needs of services at competitive prices.

The Ministry set operating and leasing standards and requirements to ensure maximum benefit from the project, and to provide high-quality services to the market-goers, including citizens and residents.

The Ministry announced that those wishing to invest can submit their applications electronically through the Ministry of Commerce and Industry website www.moci.gov.qa, or via the following link: https://www.aswaq.com.qa/ar/shop-registration-ar/, which will be activate from March 21 and will continue until April 1, 2021.

الدوحة: أعلنت اللجنة الدائمة لإدارة الأسواق المركزية بوزارة التجارة والصناعة عن طرح فرص استثمارية لتأجير محلات سوق الإبل الجديد بمنطقة أبونخلة، وذلك بالتعاون مع شركة أسواق لإدارة المنشآت الغذائية (إحدى الشركات التابعة لشركة حصاد الغذائية)، وبالتنسيق مع وزارة البلدية والبيئة.

وقال بيان صدر عن وزارة التجارة والصناعة الأمس، إنه تم تحديد خطوات الطرح، وعملية التخصيص، ومعايير التقييم، والتزامات المستأجرين في السوق الجديد.

ويشتمل سوق الإبل الجديد على حظائر لبيع الإبل (مطايا)، ومحلات لبيع الأعلاف، بالإضافة إلى محلات لأنشطة تجارية متنوعة لخدمة السوق والمتعاملين فيه (عيادة بيطرية، والتجارة في المستلزمات البيطرية، ومحل لبيع مستلزمات وأدوات الحيوانات، وسوبر ماركت، ومطعم).

كما يشمل السوق مقصبا للجمال، ستقوم شركة ودام الغذائية بتشغيله، إلى جانب مجلس لأصحاب الحظائر والمحلات ورواد السوق المزود أيضا بمنطقة خدمات لجميع المتعاملين.

ويصل عدد الفرص الاستثمارية التي سيتم طرحها بالسوق المذكور إلى (75) فرصة، تشمل 30 لحظائر الإبل، و40 لمحلات بيع الأعلاف، و5 محلات أخرى لأنشطة تجارية متنوعة.

وأكدت وزارة التجارة والصناعة أنه تم طرح هذه الفرص الاستثمارية وفق سياسة تضمن الاستفادة الكبرى للمستأجرين والمستهلكين من خلال وضع آلية تتيح للمستأجر الحصول على الاستثمار الجيد عبر منحه سعر إيجار مناسب مع الالتزام ببعض الشروط والاعتبارات التي من شأنها المحافظة على استمرارية إنجاح الأسواق، وفي الوقت ذاته إتاحة الفرصة للمستهلك للحصول على احتياجاته الأساسية من الخدمات بأسعار تنافسية.

وحددت الوزارة معايير واشتراطات التشغيل والتأجير لضمان الاستفادة القصوى من المشروع، وتقديم خدمات عالية الجودة لرواد السوق من المواطنين والمقيمين.

وأعلنت الوزارة أن تقديم الطلب للراغبين في الاستثمار سيتم إلكترونيا من خلال موقع وزارة التجارة والصناعة www.moci.gov.qa ، وذلك عبر الرابط الآتي : https://www.aswaq.com.qa/ar/shop-registration-ar/ ، والذي سيبدأ تفعيله ابتداء من21 مارس الجاري ويستمر حتى الأول من أبريل المقبل.

تجدر الإشارة إلى أن سوق الإبل الجديد يقع في منطقة أبونخلة أو المعروفة بمنطقة “أم الزبار” على طريق روضة راشد في المنطقة الغربية من البلاد، ويتميز موقع السوق الجديد بقربه من مجمع عزب الشحانية الخاصة بتربية الإبل (المطايا).

كما يتميز السوق بقربه أيضا من مضمار السباق الخاص بالهجن، ومن القرية العمالية الخاصة بسكن العمال، والتي ستخدم العاملين بالسوق، إضافة إلى ذلك سيكون السوق الجديد مصدرا رئيسيا لتوزيع الأعلاف لكافة المناطق المحيطة به، مما سيساعد في القضاء على ظاهرة الأسواق العشوائية لبيع الأعلاف.
