Ashghal: LED lighting Poles to be Used on Qatar’s Roads Network

Doha: Ashghal continues to implement the programme to replace traditional street lighting with energy-Saving, long-lasting, and more efficient LED lighting units in many areas of Qatar.
The LED lighting programme also aims to achieve traffic safety on the roads as it provides better vision for road users, and reduces maintenance costs due to high durability. It also saves the cost of electricity consumption as LED units save energy by 50 to 55% of traditional lighting system.

الدوحة: قامت هيئة الأشغال العامة بتنفيذ برنامج لاستبدال الإنارة التقليدية على الطرق بأخرى من نوع LED و هي إضاءة موفرة للطاقة و ذات عمر افتراضي أطول و كفاءة أعلى من الإنارة التقليدية و ذلك في عدة مناطق بالدولة.
وتهدف أعمال استبدال الإنارة إلى تحقيق السلامة المرورية على الطرق وتحقيق رؤية أفضل لمستخدمي الطريق.
و تسهم إنارة LED أيضاً في خفض تكاليف الصيانة، وذلك لاستمراريتها لوقت أطول فضلاً عن خفض قيمة استهلاك الكهرباء، حيث توفو وحدات الإضاءة LED الطاقة بنسبة تترواح بين 50% إلى 55% عن نظام الإنارة التقليدية.
