Ehteraz app updated to show additional features

Doha: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announces several updates on its Ehteraz application. The new updates include Ehteraz map functionality for home quarantine and a display for vaccination status. 

“A new Ehteraz update has been launched that will enable people to set the location of their Home Quarantine using a map location function,” MoPH said in a statement on Twitter. 

All individuals who have been placed into Home Quarantine will have the ability to use the map/pin drop location functionality within the first 24 hours of their Ehteraz status turning to YELLOW. “Set Quarantine Location” will appear under the QR code on the health status page of the App when applicable.

This is to be used only in situations either where the Blue Plate address is not available, or in cases where the individual chooses to remain in quarantine in a location other than their primary residence.

If the individual carries out their quarantine in their primary residence which has a defined Blue Plate, they do not need to use this function on Ehteraz, as Ehteraz will automatically use their primary residence.

Individuals will only be able to use this function one time, and the location will be locked once used.

On the other hand, Ehteraz also now shows a display of vaccination status. 

“All individuals who have received the full course of the given COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses for the current vaccines in Qatar), will have this displayed on their Ehteraz App 7 days after the last dose was administered,” MoPH said. 

The new status will appear on the health status page of the App as a Golden Frame around the QR code, and a vaccinated stamp image. The QR code may still be any of the four colors depending on the individual’s status but will be surrounded by the Golden Frame if fully vaccinated.

Additionally, the app now shows a “Vaccination” tab alongside the options for Health Status, Statistics, Hotline, and Notifications. 

According to the statement, this tab will show the details of the individual’s vaccination, including the dates of the dose/doses as well as the name of the vaccine taken. 

“Please note that at this time, this new vaccination status on the Ehteraz does not change any policies or protocols regarding those set forward by the government of Qatar, meaning all mandates still apply such as social distancing, mask-wearing, and quarantine protocols,” the Ministry stated.

ونوّهت بخاصية تحديد موقع الحجر الصحي المنزلي على الخريطة، حيث يتمكن جميع الأفراد الخاضعين للحجر الصحي المنزلي من استخدام خاصية تحديد موقعهم على الخريطة باستخدام رمز الدبوس في غضون الساعات ال 12 الأولى من تحول الحالة الصحية على تطبيق احتراز إلى اللون الأصفر. سيظهر تحديد موقع العزل أسفل رمز الاستجابة السريعة على صفحة الحالة الصحية للتطبيق عند الحجر.

ويتم استخدام هذه الخاصية في الحالات التي لا يتوفر فيها عنوان المسكن (اللوحة الزرقاء) أو في الحالات التي يختار فيها الشخص البقاء في الحجر الصحي في مكان آخر غير مكان العنوان الوطني المسجل، فإذا قرر الشخص الحجر الصحي في العنوان الوطني المسجل للشخص حيث يوجد عنوان محدد (اللوحة الزرقاء)، فليس هناك حاجة إلى استخدام هذه الخاصية على التطبيق، حيث سيتم استخدام الإقامة الأساسية تلقائيًا من قِبل التطبيق.

سيتمكن الأفراد من استخدام هذه الخاصية مرة واحدة فقط، حيث سيصبح الموقع غير قابل للتغيير (مقفلًا) بمجرد استخدامه. سيتم عرض حالة التطعيم لجميع الأفراد الذين تلقوا الجرعات كاملة من لقاح «كوفيد -19» (جرعتان في الوقت الراهن في قطر) على تطبيق «احتراز» وذلك بعد 7 أيام من إعطاء الجرعة الأخيرة.

ستظهر الخاصية الجديدة على صفحة الحالة الصحية للتطبيق بإطار ذهبي حول رمز الاستجابة السريعة وصورة طابع تؤكد حصول الشخص على التطعيم.

علمًا أن الإطار الذهبي سيبقى ظاهرًا في جميع الحالات الصحية الأربع الموجودة على تطبيق (احتراز) وذلك بمجرد حصول الشخص على التطعيم. كما سيتضمن التطبيق علامة تبويب إضافية تسمى (التطعيم) والتي تظهر تفاصيل التطعيم الخاصة بالشخص بما في ذلك تواريخ الجرعة – الجرعات، واسم اللقاح المستخدم.

تجدر الإشارة إلى أنه في الوقت الراهن لا تغير هذه الخاصية الجديدة للتطعيم التي تظهر على تطبيق احتراز أي سياسات أو بروتوكولات وضعتها دولة قطر، ما يعني أن جميع الاشتراطات لا تزال سارية مثل التباعد الاجتماعي، وارتداء الكِمامة وبروتوكولات الحجر الصحي.
