زخم قويّ لعلاقات قطر والصين رغم تحديات كورونا

Doha: The Chinese ambassador to Doha, Zhou Jian, stressed that despite the outbreak of the new Coronavirus (Covid-19) around the world, cooperation between China and Qatar showed strong momentum in many fields, especially in the high and modern technology field, which helped promote the steady trade development between the two countries.
“Thanks to the joint efforts of the Chinese and Qatari governments, cooperation between the two countries is increasingly expanding in many fields, and the cooperation between the two sides has expanded from traditional fields such as energy and construction to high-tech and modern fields,” Zhu Jian said in an interview with Xinhua.
He added that in 2020, the total bilateral trade in goods reached 11.7 billion dollars, which represents 15.2 % of the total Qatari merchandise trade, of which 3.9 billion are Qatari imports from China, an annual increase of 10 %, making China currently the largest trading partner For Qatar.
The ambassador believes that the most important feature of the economic and trade cooperation between the two sides in 2020 is high-tech cooperation.
He mentioned that this type of fruitful cooperation has led to improving the level and quality of trade between the two countries, and has played a positive role in expanding bilateral cooperation in all fields now and in the future, and in promoting economic development for both countries, especially in promoting economic diversity in the State of Qatar.
Zhou Jian pointed out that China has entered the new development stage in which it applies the new concept of development, as it will launch its 14th five-year plan and the goals of Vision 2035, accelerate the construction of a new development pattern and build open economies at a higher level, which will provide an important opportunity for practical cooperation between China and Qatar.
He explained that China will encourage and support more Chinese companies that are able to invest and start a business in Qatar, which would give strong momentum to the two countries to achieve their own development goals.
According to data provided by the Chinese embassy in Qatar, in 2020 the two sides signed an agreement to build an LNG carrier, with a total value of about three billion dollars.
Two companies from the two countries also signed a contract to export 3 thousand electric buses and diesel buses to Qatar, in addition to building a joint factory for the assembly of electric buses in the free zone in the state. Moreover, the Chinese technology giant Huawei has also collaborated with local companies in Qatar to jointly promote the use of smart products that integrate smart writing, high-definition screen displays, video conferencing, and open office applications.
This high-tech product, which was recently developed by Huawei, can meet the needs of smart offices in multiple scenarios, such as corporate meeting rooms, open office areas, manager rooms, and family rooms.
This product is the ideal choice for communication and interaction between people in the current circumstances of the outbreak of (Covid-19) disease.
His Excellency Mr. Zhou Jian, Ambassador of the Republic of China to Doha, reiterated his country’s praise for the sincere support of the State of Qatar for China in facing the Coronavirus pandemic.
In an exclusive interview with the Chinese news agency (Xinhua), he pointed out that Qatar affirms its high appreciation for the efforts of the Chinese government in confronting the virus, prevention, and control, and the transparency of China’s position in disclosing all information and announcing cases, deaths, and areas of the spread of the infection.
He said that Qatar affirmed its respect for the World Health Organization’s call for world countries not to impose restrictions on travel and trade to China due to the virus, and expressed its hope to work side by side with China to combat the virus. He stated that since the announcement of the emergence of the virus, the Chinese embassy in Qatar has been in constant contact with the relevant authorities in the State of Qatar in order to provide support, protection, and consular assistance to Chinese citizens.

الدوحة: أكّد السفيرُ الصينيُّ لدى الدوحة تشو جيان، أنّه رغم تفشّي مرض فيروس كورونا الجديد (كوفيد-19) في جميع أنحاء العالم، إلا أنّ التعاون بين الصين وقطر أظهر زخمًا قويًا في العديد من المجالات، لاسيّما مجال التكنولوجيا الفائقة والحديثة، ما ساعد على تعزيز التنمية المطردة للتجارة بين البلدَين.
وقال تشو جيان في مُقابلة مع وكالة أنباء (شينخوا) إنّه «بفضل الجهود المشتركة للحكومتَين الصينية والقطرية، يتزايد توسّع التعاون بين البلدَين في كثير من المجالات، وقد توسع التعاون بين الجانبين من المجالات التقليدية مثل الطاقة والبناء إلى مجالات التكنولوجيا الفائقة والحديثة».
وأضاف أنه في عام 2020، بلغ إجمالي التجارة الثنائية في السلع 11.7 مليار دولار، وهو ما يمثل 15.2 بالمائة من إجمالي تجارة السلع القطرية، من بينها 3.9 مليار دولار من الواردات القطرية من الصين، بزيادة سنوية قدرها 10 بالمائة، لتصبح الصين حاليًا أكبر شريك تجاري لقطر.
ويعتقد السفير أن أهم ما ميز التعاون الاقتصادي والتجاري بين الجانبين في عام 2020 هو التعاون في مجال التكنولوجيا الفائقة.
وذكر أن هذا النوع من التعاون المثمر أدى إلى تحسين مستوى وجودة التجارة بين البلدين، ولعب دورًا إيجابيًا في توسع التعاون الثنائي في كافة المجالات حاليًا وفي المستقبل، وتعزيز التنمية الاقتصادية لكلا البلدين خاصة في دفع التنوع الاقتصادي في دولة قطر.
ولفت تشو جيان إلى أن الصين دخلت المرحلة التنموية الجديدة التي تطبق فيها المفهوم الجديد للتنمية، حيث ستطلق خطتها الخمسية ال 14 وأهداف رؤية 2035، وتسريع بناء نمط تنمية جديد، وبناء الاقتصادات المفتوحة على مستوى أعلى، ما سيوفر فرصة مهمة للتعاون العملي بين الصين وقطر.
وأوضح أن الصين ستشجع وتدعم المزيد من الشركات الصينية القادرة على الاستثمار وبدء الأعمال التجارية في قطر، ما يضخ زخمًا قويا للبلدين لتحقيق أهداف التنمية الخاصة بهما.
وبحسب البيانات التي قدمتها السفارة الصينية في قطر، فقد وقع الجانبان في عام 2020 اتفاقية لبناء ناقلة غاز طبيعي مسال قيمتها الإجمالية حوالي ثلاثة مليارات دولار.
كما وقعت شركتان من البلدين عقدًا لتصدير 3 آلاف حافلة كهربائية وحافلة ديزل إلى قطر، بجانب بناء مصنع مشترك لتجميع الحافلات الكهربائية في المنطقة الحرة بالدولة. علاوة على ذلك، تعاونت شركة (هواوي) عملاق التكنولوجيا الصيني، أيضا مع الشركات المحلية في قطر للترويج المشترك لاستخدام المنتجات الذكية التي تدمج الكتابة الذكية، وعروض الشاشات فائقة الوضوح، ومؤتمرات الفيديو، وتطبيقات المكاتب المفتوحة.
ويمكن لهذا المنتج عالي التقنية، الذي طورته شركة (هواوي) مؤخرًا تلبية احتياجات المكاتب الذكية في سيناريوهات متعددة، مثل غرف اجتماعات الشركات ومناطق المكاتب المفتوحة وغرف المديرين والغرف العائلية.
ويعد هذا المنتج الخيار المثالي للتواصل والتفاعل بين الأشخاص في ظل الظروف الراهنة لتفشي مرض (كوفيد-19).
وجدد سعادة السيد تشو جيان سفير جمهورية الصين الشعبية لدى الدوحة إشادة بلاده بالدعم المخلص من دولة قطر للصين في مواجهة جائحة فيروس كورونا.
وأشار في مقابلة خاصة أجرتها معه وكالة أنباء (شينخوا) الصينية إلى تأكيد قطر على تقديرها العالي لجهود الحكومة الصينية في مواجهة الفيروس والوقاية والسيطرة عليه، وشفافية موقف الصين في الكشف عن جميع المعلومات والإعلان عن الإصابات والوفيات ومناطق انتشار العدوى.
وقال إن قطر أكدت احترامها لدعوة منظمة الصحة العالمية دول العالم إلى عدم فرض قيود على السفر والتجارة إلى الصين بسبب الفيروس، وأعربت عن أملها في العمل جنبًا إلى جنب مع الصين لمكافحة الفيروس.
وأفاد أنه منذ الإعلان عن ظهور الفيروس والسفارة الصينية لدى قطر تجري اتصالات دائمة مع الجهات المعنية في دولة قطر من أجل تقديم الدعم والحماية والمساعدات القنصلية للمواطنين الصينيين.
