Doha: Saleh Al-Khulaifi, Assistant Undersecretary for Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, confirmed that restaurants and cafes will be visited to assess the current situation and operations related to health and hygiene to ensure their compliance with the precautionary measures.

He pointed out that the capacity will be reduced in many activities, especially those in crowded places such as malls and restaurants, and restaurants will be directed to participate in the “Qatar Clean program” in cooperation with the National Tourism Council through the program’s website.
He also explained that the “Qatar Clean Program” is a program developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Health and the National Tourism Council, and it aims to serve and improve the services provided by the hospitality sector, whether they are hotels, restaurants or cafes. The submission to the program is made via the website of the “Qatar Clean program”, after filling in all the data, the specialized team will make a field visit to the facility to verify all the operations carried out by this commercial establishment, whether by sterilizing food materials, sterilizing tables, and using some materials in sterilization, air ventilation and social distancing.
Al-Khulaifi said that the aim of the “Qatar Clean Program” is to upgrade the services of this facility in hospitality services, and then they will be given a ” Qatar Clean Certificate” for today, which is a reason to be proud that they can this time serve a greater number of customers. Also, we hope in the future that this will be a motivation for all companies and restaurants to compete over this advantage.
He added: We would like to remind companies in the private sector of the need to adhere to the precautionary measures to avoid applying any of the penalties stipulated in the Communicable Diseases Law and the Commercial Licenses Law, avoid financial fines and any closure of their commercial activities, expressing his thanks to the private sector for their commitment to the precautionary measures, wishing health and wellness to all.
Al-Khulaifi explained that the decisions announced by the Council of Ministers today aim to protect society’s health and commercial institutions alike and to keep the commercial wheel turning. وأوضح أن برنامج قطر نظيفة هو برنامج تم تطويره بالتعاون بين وزارة الصحة والمجلس الأعلى للسياحة والهدف منه خدمة والارتقاء بالخدمات المقدمة من قطاع الضيافة سواء كانت الفنادق أو المطاعم أو المقاهي ويتم التقديم عبر الموقع الإلكتروني لبرنامج قطر نظيفة وبعد تعبئة جميع البيانات سيقوم الفريق المختص بزيارة ميدانية للمنشأة للتأكد من جميع العمليات التي تقوم بها هذه المنشأة التجارية سواء كانت عن طريق تعقيم مواد الأكل وتعقيم الطاولات واستخدام بعض المواد في التعقيم وتهوية الهواء والتباعد الاجتماعي.
وقال إن الهدف من برنامج قطر نظيفة هو الارتقاء بخدمات هذه المنشأة في خدمات الضيافة وبعدها سيتم إعطاءهم “شهادة قطر نظيفة” لليوم سيفتخرون بها في هذا الوقت أنهم يستيطعون خدمة عدد أكبر من الزبائن.. وأيضاً في المستقبل نتمنى أن تكون حافزاً لجميع الشركات وتصبح ميزة تنافسية لبعض المطاعم عن المطاعم الأخرى.
وأضاف: نود أن نُذكّر الشركات في القطاع الخاص بضرورة الالتزام بالإجراءات الاحترازية تفادياً لتطبيق أياً من العقوبات المنصوص عليها في قانون الأمراض الانتقالية وقانون الرخص التجارية لتفادي الغرامات المالية وأي إغلاق لأنشطتهم التجارية، معرباً عن شكره للقطاع الخاص على التزامهم بالإجراءا الاحترازية متمنياً للجميع دوام الصحة والعافية.
وأوضح أن الهدف من القرارات التي أعلن عنها مجلس الوزراء اليوم هو لوقاية المجتمع والمؤسسات التجارية على حد سواء من الناحية الصحية والتأكد من إبقاء دوران العجلة التجارية، وإننا نعول على مسؤولية القطاع الخاص الذي تمكّن على مُضي سنة كاملة من مواجهة الوباء بشكل جيد، متابعاً: تأتي هذه الإجراءات لدعم وتحفيز الأنشطة التي تحافظ على الإجراءات الاحترازية وتشديد الرقابة على تلك الأنشطة عالية المخاطر.
