Qatar Rail Urges Passengers to Abide by Preventive Measures on Occasion of National Day

Doha: Qatar Rail urges passengers to abide by coronavirus (COVID-19) precautions and arrive early at metro stations during Qatar National Day 2020, and also for the Amir Cup Final.
The Qatar Rail is expected to see a large turnout from the public at stations at Qatar National Day events and also for the Amir Cup Final which is coinciding with the National Day. Therefore, advises passengers to pre-plan and leave extra time for their journey. To avoid crowding, the customers can benefit from the metros journey pre-planning service through the Qatar Rail application or Doha Metro website and arrive at the station in advance of their planned departure time.
In light of (COVID-19) guidelines, metro services are currently running at 30% capacity to enable social distancing. In preparation for the upcoming events, public access to stations will be arranged to avoid crowding at ticket vending machines, entry gates and train platforms.
Additionally, Qatar Rail recommends purchasing prepaid Standard Travel cards through approved sales outlets such as Al Meera, Lulu, Carrefour, Jumbo Electronics, Family Food Centre and the “Talabat” application. Gold class cards are available through Gold Centers at all metro stations.
These reusable cards provide a contactless payment service and help to limit touch points during the trip. customer can also recharge their card in advance of their journey, using their respective debit or credit cards via the website (qr.com.qa) or Qatar Rail application.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) and the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC), Qatar Rail remains committed to implementing precautionary and operational measures, placing the safety of users as the top priority. On entering the station, customers will be required to show their “Ehteraz” health status and adhere to temperature checks. Only individuals with green health and registering temperatures below 37.8 C will be allowed to use the metro. Moreover, it is mandatory for everyone to wear facemasks on entering the premises and throughout their journey. To this end, on-ground security and customer service staff will monitor compliance with all the measures closely. Any person failing to comply with the safety measures will not be permitted to enter and asked to leave.
Doha Metro also reminds customers to adhere to social distancing rules by following the instructional stickers located throughout the stations.

وتوقعت شركة /الريل/ أن تشهد محطات وخدمات مترو الدوحة إقبالا من الجمهور في اليوم الوطني، ما يتعين معه التخطيط المسبق لرحلات الركاب الراغبين في استخدام المترو خلال هذه الفترة، عبر استخدام تطبيق الشركة والموقع الالكتروني لمترو الدوحة الذي يتيح ميزة التخطيط المسبق للرحلات، كي يتسنى للركاب التوجه للمحطات قبل وقت كاف لتفادي الازدحام .
وأوضحت الشركة أن خدمات المترو تعمل حاليا بسعة استيعابية تصل إلى 30 في المائة، وقالت إنها ستقوم بتنظيم دخول الجماهير للمحطات لتفادي الازدحام عند أجهزة بيع التذاكر وبوابات الدخول وأرصفة القطارات.
ومن ضمن التوصيات التي أصدرتها الشركة للركاب بهذا الخصوص، القيام بشراء بطاقات الرحلات الاقتصادية مسبقة الدفع من منافذ البيع المعتمدة، مثل الميرة واللولو وكارفو و”جمبو للإلكترونيات” ومركز التموين العائلي، ومن خلال تطبيق “طلبات”، لافتة إلى أن بطاقات الدرجة الذهبية متاحة عبر أماكن البيع المخصصة داخل جميع محطات المترو.
كما نوهت /الريل/ أن بطاقات الرحلات القابلة لإعادة الاستخدام تعد أكثر أمانا حيث توفر خدمة الدفع دون تلامس ما يقلل فرصة لمس الأسطح المختلفة أثناء الرحلة، في حين يمكن للركاب أيضا إعادة تعبئة رصيد بطاقة الرحلات إلكترونيا باستخدام بطاقات الخصم المباشر أو بطاقات الائتمان عبر الموقع الإلكتروني (qr.com.qa) أوعن طريق تطبيق الشركة.
وذكرت شركة /الريل/ أنها مستمرة في تطبيق الإجراءات الاحترازية والتشغيلية بالتعاون مع وزارتي الصحة العامة والمواصلات والاتصالات ، واضعة سلامة المستخدمين على رأس أولوياتها.
وبينت أن هذه الإجراءات الاحترازية تبدأ مع لحظة دخول الركاب إلى المحطة، حيث يطلب منهم إظهار حالتهم الصحية على تطبيق “احتراز”، وفحص درجة حرارتهم، ومن ثم السماح بالركوب فقط للأفراد الذين تظهر حالتهم الصحية باللون الأخضر ولا تتجاوز درجات حرارتهم 37.8 درجة مئوية، كما يجب على الركاب الالتزام بارتداء كمامات الوجه عند دخولهم المحطة وطوال مدة الرحلة، علما أنه يتم مراقبة جميع الإجراءات عن كثب من قبل كوادر الأمن وخدمة العملاء المتواجدين في المحطات، مشددة على أنه لن يسمح بتواجد أي شخص يخالف هذه التعليمات داخل المحطة.
وأكدت الشركة، في هذا السياق أيضا، ضرورة التزام المستخدمين بالملصقات الارشادية الموجودة على امتداد الشبكة، وبالتباعد الاجتماعي أثناء التواجد داخل الشبكة، داعية الجمهور إلى متابعة حساب مترو الدوحة على مواقع التواصل للاجتماعي للاطلاع على آخر مستجدات الخدمة ومعلومات الرحلات.
