US Federal Aviation Approves Boeing 737 Max to Fly Again

Washington: After nearly two years and a pair of deadly crashes, the United States Federal Aviation Administration has cleared Boeings 737 Max for flight.
The US air safety agency announced the move early on Wednesday, saying it was done after a “comprehensive and methodical” 20-month review process.
Regulators around the world grounded the Max in March 2019, after the crash of an Ethiopian Airlines jet. That happened less than five months after another Max flown by Indonesias Lion Air plunged into the Java Sea. A total of 346 passengers and crew members on both planes were killed.

واشنطن: سمحت هيئة الطيران الفدرالية الأمريكية لطائرات بوينغ /737-ماكس/ بالطيران مجددا، وذلك بعد نحو عامين من حادثتي تحطم لطائرتين من هذا الطراز.
وذكرت الهيئة، في بيان لها بثه موقع قناة /الحرة/ اليوم، أن هذا القرار جاء “بعد مراجعة شاملة ومنهجية استغرقت 20 شهرا”.
وكانت عدة دول قد قررت وقف تحليق هذا النوع من الطائرات بعد تحطم واحدة منها تابعة للخطوط الإثيوبية في مارس 2019، وأخرى تابعة لشركة /لايون إير/ الإندونيسية قبل ذلك بنحو خمسة أشهر في بحر /جاوه/، وراح ضحية الحادثتين 346 شخصا.
