Qatar Petroleum Announces Successful Integration of Muntajat into its Operations

Doha: Qatar Petroleum announced completing the successful integration of Qatar Chemical and Petrochemical Marketing and Distribution Company (Muntajat) Q.J.S.C. into Qatar Petroleum (QP).

With this integration, Muntajat will continue to exist as a legal entity, while QP has been appointed as its Marketing Agent.

This milestone follows QP’s announcement of June 2020, in which it stressed that the integration will involve leveraging the combined set of human, technical, commercial, and financial capabilities of both entities, enabling Muntajat to expand its reach through QPs global footprint.

HE the Minister of State for Energy Affairs, the President and CEO of Qatar Petroleum Engineer Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi described the integration as “another successful landmark on the road to achieving our strategic objectives,” adding “We look forward to further enhancing Qatar Petroleum’s capabilities through our combined talent, experience and capabilities that will eventually benefit our worldwide network of downstream customers and keep us as the partner of choice providing superior high quality products and excellence in customer service.”

His Excellency indicated that the completion of the integration process is also a new step towards enhancing the achievement of one of Qatar Petroleum’s strategic objectives to become the global leader in the chemical and petrochemical industries sector.

الدوحة: أعلنت قطر للبترول، يوم الأمس، عن الانتهاء الناجح لعملية ضمها لأعمال شركة قطر لتسويق وتوزيع الكيماويات والبتروكيماويات /منتجات/.

وبانتهاء هذه العملية، ستواصل /منتجات/ الوجود ككيان قانوني، بينما ستتولى قطر للبترول مهمة الوكيل التسويقي للشركة.

وتشكل عملية الضم، التي كانت قطر للبترول قد أعلنت عنها في شهر يونيو الماضي، خطوة هامة لتعزيز الجهود المستمرة لقطر للبترول في تدعيم مكانتها التنافسية في قطاع الصناعات الكيماوية والبتروكيماوية، كما ستحقق الاستفادة من القدرات البشرية والفنية والتجارية والمالية للمجموعة المشتركة، مثلما ستمكّن شركة /منتجات/ من الاستمرار بالتوسع من خلال رقعة التواجد الدولي لقطر للبترول.

وعلق سعادة المهندس سعد بن شريده الكعبي، وزير الدولة لشؤون الطاقة، العضو المنتدب والرئيس التنفيذي لقطر للبترول، على عملية الضم، قائلا إنها “علامة نجاح بارزة على طريق تحقيق أهدافنا الاستراتيجية”، مضيفا “نتطلع إلى تعزيز قدرات قطر للبترول من خلال محصلة المواهب والخبرات والقدرات التي تحقق أعلى فائدة لشبكة عملائنا العالمية في قطاع الصناعات الكيماوية والبتروكيماوية، وتضمن استمرارنا كشريك مفضل ومتميز لتقديم منتجات عالية الجودة لعملائنا حول العالم”.

وأشار سعادته إلى أن إتمام عملية الضم ” تعتبر أيضا خطوة جديدة نحو تعزيز تحقيق أحد أهداف قطر للبترول الاستراتيجية لتصبح الرائدة العالمية في قطاع الصناعات الكيماوية والبتروكيماوية”.
