Qatar Airways warns against false tweet about travel to Qatar

Doha: Qatar Airways has described a tweet that is alleged to have been posted by the company referring to travel to Qatar as false.

“Qatar Airways is aware of a false tweet alleged to have been posted by the company referring to travel to Qatar, dated 11 November,” the airline tweeted on Thursday.

“This information is incorrect and the national carrier calls on everyone to be accurate in reporting or sharing news that originates only from official sources.

Necessary action will be taken against promoters of any such incorrect information.”

الدوحة: نوهت الخطوط الجوية القطرية بأنها على علم بتغريدة مفبركة قد نسبت إليها بتاريخ 11 نوفمبر الجاري والتي تتعلق بالسفر إلى قطر .

ووفقاً لبيان للقطرية –  نشرته على تويتر – “تزعم التغريدة المفبركة بمنع دخول جميع المسافرين إلى دولة قطر إلا حاملي شهادة فحص سلبية لكوفيد 19 ويستثنى من هذا المنع مواطني دول أوروبا واستراليا”.

وتؤكد الناقلة الوطنية بأن هذه التغريدة غير صحيحة وتدعو الجميع إلى مشاركة  المعلومات والأخبار التي تصدر من جهات رسمية فقط .

كما تؤكد أنه سيتم اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة ضد مروجي أي معلومات غير صحيحة من هذا القبيل.
