SC Announces Work Progress in Ras Abu Aboud Stadium

 Doha: The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC), the body responsible for handing over the infrastructure projects necessary for the State of Qatar to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup, announced the progress of work at Ras Abu Aboud Stadium, one of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 stadiums.

This came in a video report posted by the SC, on its official Twitter account, and it touched on the latest stages of work in the stadium, which in its innovative design mimics the marine nature surrounding it due to its proximity to Doha Port, which is considered one of the most important logistical centers for the State of Qatar.

This great progress in work will pave the way for the construction of a stadium that will host the most skilled football players in the world and will also serve as an inspiration for a new phase of sustainability and innovation for sports facilities.

Currently, construction work continues at the stadium after more than half of the sea freight containers were in place, some seats have been installed in place, and work on the roof is still under construction.

The Ras Abu Aboud Stadium, which overlooks the coast of Qatar, is distinguished by that it will be built from shipping containers, and it is also the first of the World Cup stadiums to be completely dismantled and reused for other purposes after the end of the tournament.

Guests coming from all over the world will notice the stadium’s close connection with the port, once they see its structure consisting of shipping containers and various steel elements used in the construction of ships, which, by intertwining with each other, will form a design promising a distinctive experience for fans inside and outside the stadium.

After the completion of the construction work, Ras Abu Aboud Stadium with a 40,000-seat capacity will become a distinctive monument thanks to its bold colors and modern design, and it will host the 2022 World Cup matches on the Gulf coast.

الدوحة: أعلنت اللجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث، الجهة المسؤولة عن تسليم مشاريع البنية التحتية اللازمة لاستضافة دولة قطر لبطولة كأس العالم لكرة القدم 2022، تقدم الأعمال في استاد راس أبو عبود أحد ملاعب كأس العالم لكرة القدم /قطر 2022/.

جاء ذلك في تقرير مصور بثته اللجنة، في حسابها الرسمي على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي /تويتر/، وتطرق إلى آخر المراحل التي وصل إليها العمل في الاستاد الذي يحاكي بتصميمه المبتكر الطبيعة البحرية المحيطة به نظراً لقربه من ميناء الدوحة، الذي يعتبر أحد أهم المراكز اللوجستية بالنسبة لدولة قطر.

وسيمهد هذا التقدم الكبير في العمل، الطريق لبناء استاد سوف يستقبل أمهر لاعبي كرة القدم في العالم، كما سيمثل مصدر إلهام لمرحلة جديدة من الاستدامة والابتكار للمنشآت الرياضية.

وتتواصل الأعمال الإنشائية حاليا على صحن الاستاد، بعد أن أصحبت أكثر من نصف حاويات الشحن البحري في مكانها، وتم تركيب بعض المقاعد في مكانها ومازال العمل على السقف قيد الإنشاء.

ويتميز استاد راس أبو عبود المطل على ساحل قطر، بأنه سيبنى من حاويات الشحن البحري، كما أنه يتفرد بكونه أول استادات كأس العالم الذي سيتم تفكيكه بالكامل وإعادة الاستفادة منه في أغراض أخرى عقب انتهاء منافسات البطولة.

وسيلحظ الضيوف القادمون من جميع أنحاء العالم ارتباط الاستاد الوثيق بالميناء، بمجرد رؤية هيكله المكون من حاويات الشحن البحري، وعناصر مختلفة من الصلب تستخدم في إنشاء السفن، والتي ستشكل بتداخلها مع بعضها البعض تصميما واعدا بتجربة مميزة للمشجعين داخل الاستاد وخارجه.

وبعد استكمال أعمال البناء، سيصبح استاد راس أبو عبود بسعة 40,000 مقعد صرحا مميزا بفضل ألوانه الجريئة وتصميمه العصري، وسيستضيف مباريات كأس العالم /قطر 2022/ على ساحل الخليج.
