Doha: The Doha Film Institute has announced the opening of the participation in the Geekdom Costume Competition (online), which will be held on the sidelines of the activities of the eighth edition of the Ajyal Film Festival. “Geekdom” is part of the Ajyal Creativity Center, which aims to enhance the participation of the local community, to be a destination for old game enthusiasts and wanting to relive childhood memories with friends.
” Geekdom ” includes many events and activities, including costumes, exciting video game tournaments, and movie screenings, so that the exhibition provides various means and activities for entertainment and pleasure. Those wishing to participate in the competition must send a video clip of no more than 30 seconds long, which is reviewed by the costume person who will perform it, via email: geekdom@dohafilminstitute.com And in the event that the size of the required files exceeds the allowed limit, the subscriber can send attachment links through sharing sites such as drop box. It is noteworthy that the deadline for receiving applications is November 20.
