Breast Cancer Awareness Month is about to End .. Have you had the tests?
شهر التوعية بسرطان الثدي قارب على الانتهاء .. هل قمتي بإجراء الفحوص؟

Did you get the tests done? We have always heard about breast cancer and we have seen people who have suffered from it and may have lived with them or experienced it personally, a disease that has become widespread in recent times in particular. Breast cancer is defined as one of the types of cancer that arise as a result of the abnormal and uncontrolled multiplication of certain cells in the breast, which results in the growth of a tumor in the breast.
And most of the lumps that grow in the breast are benign, non-cancerous, But the changes that affect the human body are not expected, and that is why it is advised to see a doctor permanently when noticing any changes and conducting the necessary checks. Although breast cancer is more common among women, it affects both males and females, because the tumor begins with its growth in the cells lining the milk ducts, which is called ductal carcinoma, one of the most common types of breast cancer among both sexes.
As for cancer that begins its growth and development in the milk-producing glands, which is known as adenocarcinoma or lobular carcinoma, it often affects women specifically and rarely affects men. Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer worldwide, but breast cancer survival rates are good compared to other cancers, and this is due to early examination and diagnosis of breast cancer, as well as the remarkable development in its treatment.
October is breast cancer awareness month, as the State of Qatar, with its various institutions, supported this campaign by urging everyone to conduct the necessary examinations and conduct multiple campaigns, in addition to the buildings of its institutions that were decorated in pink in solidarity with the month of breast cancer.

لطالما سمعنا عن مرض سرطان الثدي ورأينا أناس عانوا منه وربما عايشناهم أو عايشناه بشكل شخصي، ذلك المرض الذي أصبح واسع الانتشار في الآونة الأخيرة على وجه الخصوص. ُيعرف سرطان الثدي بأنه أحد أنواع السرطانات التي تنشأ نتيجة تضاعف خلايا مُعيَّنة في الثدي بشكل غير طبيعي وغير مسيطر عليه، مما يُسفر عن نمو ورم في الثدي. و إن معظم الكتل التي تنمو في الثدي هي عبارة عن كتل حميدة غير سرطانية، لكن التغيرات التي تصيب جسم الإنسان غير متوقعة ولهذا ينصح بمراجعة الطبيب بشكل دائم عند ملاحظة أية تغيرات وإجراء الفحوصات اللازمة. وعلى الرغم من أنَّ سرطان الثدي يعد شائعاً أكثر بين النساء، إلا أنًّه يصيب الأفراد ذكوراً وإناثاً، لأن الورم يبدأ بنموه في الخلايا المبطنة لقنوات الحليب الذي يطلق عليه اسم السرطان القنوي، أحد أكثر أنواع سرطان الثدي شيوعاً بين كلا الجنسين، أما السرطان الذي يبدأ نموه وتطوره في الغدد المنتجة للحليب، والذي يعرف باسم السرطان الغدي أو المفصَّص، فغالباً ما يصيب النساء على وجه التحديد ونادراً ما يصيب الرجال. ويعدُّ سرطان الثدي أحد أكثر أنواع السرطان شيوعاً في جميع أنحاء العالم، لكن معدلات النجاة من سرطان الثدي جيدة مقارنة بغيرها من حالات السرطان الأخرى، ويعود ذلك إلى الفحص والتشخيص المبكر لسرطان الثدي، إلى جانب التطور الملحوظ في مجال علاجه.
ويعتبر شهر أكتوبر هو شهر التوعية لسرطان الثدي، حيث قامت دولة قطر بمختلف مؤسساتها بدعم هذه الحملة من خلال حث الجميع على إجراء الفحوصات اللازمة وإجراء الحملات المتعددة إضافةً إلى مباني مؤسساتها التي تزينت باللون الوردي تضامناً مع شهر سرطان الثدي.
