Fresh dates from local farms to hit market on July 20

The Ministry of Municipality and Environment represented by the Agricultural Affairs Department has announced that fresh dates (locally called Al Rutab) from local farms will be available at all Al Meera branches from July 20, 2020. 

The marketing of fresh dates from this season will be following the preventive and precautionary measures to curb the spread of COVID-19, the Ministry said in a statement. 

Fresh dates of different varieties from local farms will be available at fixed prices at all Al Meera branches.

أعلنت وزارة البلدية و البيئة ممثلة بإدارة الشؤون الزراعية، وبالتعاون مع شركة الميرة للمواد الاستهلاكية ، عن تسويق الرطب المحلي للعام 2020 بجميع فروع الميرة، وذلك اعتباراً من يوم الإثنين الموافق 20/7/2020.

وقالت الوزارة إن تسويق الرطب هذا العام بأسلوب مختلف، يأتي تماشياً مع الإجراءات الاحترازية المعمول بها في الدولة، عن طريق عرض الرطب المنتج بالمزارع المحلية في جميع فروع مجمعات الميرة وبأسعار محددة.
