Qatar Airways flies to 40 destinations

Qatar Airways has announced via its official Twitter account operating flights to 40 destinations, with the resumption of flights to Bangkok, Barcelona, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Singapore, Vienna, Venice and Tunisia.
The national carrier said it is preparing to resume flights to Dar es Salaam from today at the rate of three flights per week, to New York from June 19th at the rate of three flights per week, and Berlin from early July at the rate of five flights per week.
Qatar Airways has increased the number of flights to Dublin, Milan and Rome daily. The airline is stepping up efforts to gradually rebuild its network of destinations, with 170 flights per week currently operating.
The national carrier took a leading position during the Coronavirus crisis (Covid-19) thanks to its determined efforts to bring passengers home safely and peacefully, becoming the world’s largest airline in the past two months in terms of available seat capacity and passenger numbers per kilometre.
Qatar Airways has been able to return more than 1.8 million passengers to their countries, while many other airlines have suspended operations, operated 15,000 flights to many destinations, and the airline has been able to see the latest international procedures applied at airports, with the latest safety, cleaning and sterilization measures applied both on its flights and at its headquarters at Hamad International Airport.
Qatar Airways has increased safety measures on board to protect passengers and crew, making a package of modifications to its services, including a protective suit for cabin crew, new flight services that reduce passenger-crew connectivity, and require all passengers to wear face masks.
Compliance with procedures
Hamad International Airport called for compliance with the currently applied safety measures in order to ensure the safety of passengers and staff in the light of the precautionary measures taken to combat the Coronavirus (Covid 19).
The airport stated on its official website that passengers are requested to consider not attending the airport if they have any of the following symptoms: dry cough, high temperature, shortness of breath, loss of sense of smell or taste.
Hamad International Airport also noted that all passengers must commit to wearing a face muzzle, which will be a requirement for entry into the terminal, as well as to follow the proper method when used, disposed of or even replaced, and the airport recommended that passengers carry a sufficient number of muzzles in addition to alcoholic hand sanitation fluids for the duration of the journey.
The airport urged passengers to take into account personal hygiene and sanitation on an ongoing basis, noting that sterile spaces had been provided throughout the terminal, and required passengers to come to the airport at least three hours before the flight in order to implement the new procedures.
It noted that all passengers will be thermally examined at the airport and that only passengers with valid tickets will be allowed to enter the terminal.
Hamad International Airport stressed the need for passengers to adhere to social spacing and to adhere to the physical distancing instructions provided by airport staff, which are shown through barriers or special signs everywhere.

أعلنت الخطوط الجوية القطرية عبر حسابها الرسمي على تويتر، عن تسيير رحلاتها إلى 40 وجهة وذلك مع استئناف رحلاتها إلى بانكوك وبرشلونة وإسلام أباد، وكراتشي، ولاهور، وبيشاور، وسنغافورة وفيينا، والبندقية وتونس.
وأشارت الناقلة الوطنية إلى أنها تستعد لإعادة استئناف رحلاتها إلى دار السلام اعتباراً من اليوم بمعدل ثلاث رحلات أسبوعياً، وإلى نيويورك اعتباراً من 19 يونيو بمعدل ثلاث رحلات أسبوعياً، وبرلين ابتداءً من مطلع يوليو المقبل بمعدل خمس رحلات أسبوعياً.
وقامت الخطوط القطرية بزيادة عدد رحلاتها إلى رحلة يومياً إلى كل من دبلن وميلان وروما. وتكثف الناقلة جهودها لإعادة بناء شبكة وجهاتها تدريجياً حيث تسير 170 رحلة إلى أسبوعياً في الوقت الحالي.
وتبوأت الناقلة الوطنية موقعاً ريادياً خلال أزمة فيروس كورونا (كوفيد 19) بفضل جهودها الحثيثة للعودة بالمسافرين إلى بلدانهم بأمان وسلام، ولتصبح أكبر شركة طيران في العالم في الشهرين الماضيين من حيث سعة المقاعد المتاحة وعدد المسافرين لكل كيلومتر.
وتمكّنت الخطوط القطرية من العودة بأكثر من 1.8 مليون مسافر إلى بلدانهم، في وقت قامت فيه العديد من شركات الطيران الأخرى بإيقاف عملياتها، وسيّرت 15 ألف رحلة طيران إلى العديد من الوجهات، واستطاعت الناقلة الاطلاع آخر الإجراءات الدولية المطبقة في المطارات، مع تطبيق أحدث تدابير الأمان والسلامة والتنظيف والتعقيم سواءً على متن رحلاتها أو في مقر عملياتها مطار حمد الدولي.
وعزّزت الخطوط الجوية القطرية من إجراءات السلامة على متن رحلاتها لحماية الركاب وطواقم الطيران، حيث أجرت حزمة من التعديلات على خدماتها، والتي شملت ارتداء أفراد طاقم الضيافة العاملين على الرحلات بدلة واقية، وتقديم الخدمات على الرحلات بشكل جديد يقلل من الاتصال بين الركاب والطاقم، وتشترط الناقلة من كافة المسافرين حالياً ارتداء الكمامات.
الالتزام بالإجراءات
هذا وطالب مطار حمد الدولي ضرورة الالتزام بإجراءات السلامة المُتبعة حالياً وأثناء السفر حفاظاً على سلامة الركاب والموظفين في ظل الإجراءات الاحترازية المتبعة لمكافحة فيروس كورونا (كوفيد 19).
وذكر المطار عبر موقعه الرسمي أنه يُرجى من المسافرين مراعاة عدم الحضور إلى المطار إذا ظهرت لديهم أيٌ من الأعراض التالية: السعال الجاف، ارتفاع درجة الحرارة، ضيق التنفس، فقدان حاسة الشم أو التذوق.
كما أشار مطار حمد الدولي إلى أنه يجب على جميع المسافرين الالتزام بارتداء كمامة الوجه والتي ستكون شرطاً للدخول إلى مبنى المسافرين، بالإضافة إلى اتباع الطريقة السليمة عند استخدامها أو التخلص منها أو حتى تبديلها، وأوصى المطار المسافرين بحمل عدد كاف من الكمامات بالإضافة إلى سوائل تعقيم اليدين الكحولية طوال مدة الرحلة.
وحث المطار المسافرين على مراعاة النظافة الشخصية وتعقيم اليدين بشكل مستمر، علماً بأنه قد تم توفير أماكن للتعقيم في جميع أنحاء مبنى المطار، وطالب الركاب بضرورة الحضور إلى المطار قبل ثلاث ساعات على الأقل من موعد الرحلة من أجل تطبيق الإجراءات الجديدة.
ونوه إلى أنه سيتم إجراء الفحص الحراري لجميع المسافرين في المطار، كما أنه لن يُسمح سوى للمسافرين الذين يحملون تذاكر سفر سارية بالدخول إلى مبنى المسافرين.
وأكد مطار حمد الدولي على ضرورة التزام المسافرين بالتباعد الاجتماعي، ومراعاة التعليمات الخاصة بالتباعد الجسدي التي يُقدّمها موظفو المطار والموضحة عبر الحواجز أو اللافتات الخاصة أينما تكون.
