Personal boat trips allowed from Monday

The Ministry of Interior’s General Directorate of Coastal and Border Security announced that as part of the implementation of the first phase of the gradual lifting of preventive and precautionary measures against the Coronavirus, personal boat trips will be allowed from June 15th.

According to the ministry’s official Twitter account, the department explained that as part of the implementation of the return of marine activities, personal boats will be allowed, including private fishing cruisers for hiking, “jet bot” (up to half of the capacity of the marine vehicle), small boats and personal yachts (up to a maximum of 10 people).

She noted that it was required to use only individually or for members of the same family from the same house in addition to the driver of the marine intermediate, and it was necessary to call the numbers assigned to determine the route of the trip with the need to comply with safety procedures.

أعلنت الإدارة العامة لأمن السواحل والحدود بوزارة الداخلية أنه في إطار تنفيذ المرحلة الأولى من الرفع التدريجي للإجراءات الوقائية والاحترازية من فيروس كورونا، سيتم السماح برحلات القوارب الشخصية اعتباراً من 15 يونيو الجاري .

وأوضحت الإدارة – وفقاً لحساب وزارة الداخلية الرسمي على تويتر – أنه في إطار تنفيذ عودة الأنشطة البحرية سيسمح بالقوارب الشخصية وتشمل الطرادات الخاصة غير المرخصة للصيد والمخصصة للنزهة والـ “جت بوت” (حتى نصف الطاقة الاستيعابية للوسيطة البحرية) والسنايبك واليخوت الشخصية (بحد أقصى 10 أشخاص) .

وأشارت إلى أنه يشترط استخدامها فقط بشكل فردي أو لأفراد الأسرة الواحدة من نفس المنزل إضافة لسائق الوسيطة البحرية ، كما يلزم الاتصال بالأرقام المخصصة لتحديد مسار الرحلة مع ضرورة التقيد بإجراءات السلامة .
