The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is considering bringing a major stadium event to Qatar, CEO Dana White revealed on Saturday.
Following the successful UFC Fight Night 250 in Saudi Arabia, White confirmed that discussions are ongoing with Qatar.
“We started this whole thing over in Abu Dhabi, came over here [Saudi] and did this, and we’re talking to Qatar right now too,” White stated, hinting at the promotion’s expansion in the region.
If finalized, this would mark UFC’s first-ever event in Qatar, further solidifying the Middle East as a key hub for global combat sports. Meanwhile, Asian rival ONE Championship is set to make its return to the region later this month.

“بدأنا كل هذا في أبوظبي، ثم انتقلنا إلى هنا [السعودية]، والآن نحن نتحدث مع قطر أيضًا.”
وفي حال تم التوصل إلى اتفاق، سيكون هذا أول حدث للـUFC في قطر، مما يعزز مكانة الشرق الأوسط كوجهة رئيسية لرياضات القتال. وفي الوقت ذاته، تستعد منظمة ONE Championship الآسيوية للعودة إلى المنطقة في وقت لاحق من الشهر الجاري.
