Deliveroo Qatar and Al Sultan Medical Center Join Forces for Comprehensive Rider Health Campaign
Qatar, 28 November 2024 — Deliveroo Qatar has launched a dedicated Health Awareness Campaign in collaboration with Al Sultan Medical Center, reinforcing its commitment to the well-being of its riders. From 17-21 November, Deliveroo riders across Qatar benefited from complimentary medical checkups, underscoring the company’s proactive approach to supporting its fleet.
Throughout the initiative, riders received full health assessments, including tests for blood pressure, blood sugar levels, and vision checks. This collaboration aims to promote a healthier lifestyle and ensure that Deliveroo’s riders are equipped to continue providing excellent service while prioritizing their own health.
To further support the riders, Deliveroo distributed wellness bags containing essential health items, including Panadol, Vitamin C tablets, band-aids, face masks, and hand sanitizers.
Yazan Aburaqabah, Director of Operations at Deliveroo Middle East, commented:
“We are dedicated to investing in our riders’ health and constantly seek partnerships that contribute to their well-being, hoping to make their journey on the road easier and safer. We are thankful to Al Sultan Medical Center for their support in making this initiative successful.”
Deliveroo continues to adhere to the highest health and safety standards in the industry. The collaboration with Al Sultan Medical Center further demonstrates Deliveroo’s ongoing dedication to working with health organizations to promote riders’ health.
