Qataris Granted Visa Exemption and 60-Day Stay in Thailand

Starting from July 15, 2024, Qatari citizens are eligible for a visa exemption and a stay of up to 60 days in Thailand. This update, announced by the Qatari Embassy in Bangkok, allows Qataris to enter and stay in Thailand for tourism, business negotiations, and urgent business matters without a visa.
The embassy, through its account on the X platform, also mentioned that the stay can be extended for an additional 30 days at the discretion of the immigration officer.

اعتباراً من 15 يوليو 2024، يحق لمواطني دولة قطر الحصول على إعفاء من تأشيرة الدخول والإقامة لمدة تصل إلى 60 يوماً في تايلاند. وأعلنت سفارة دولة قطر في بانكوك أن هذا التحديث يسمح للقطريين بدخول تايلاند والإقامة فيها بغرض السياحة والتعاقدات التجارية والأعمال العاجلة دون الحاجة إلى تأشيرة.
وأشارت السفارة عبر حسابها على منصة “إكس” إلى أنه يمكن تمديد الإقامة لمدة أخرى لا تتجاوز 30 يوماً بناءً على تقدير موظف إدارة الجوازات.
