The Korean Embassy in Qatar is excited to announce the opportunity for K-Pop fans to showcase their talent at the 2024 K-Pop World Festival in Changwon.
Here’s your chance to shine on the global stage! Read on to learn how to participate.
What is the K-Pop World Festival?
- An electrifying global event celebrating Korean music and culture.
- Held annually, the festival attracts talented performers from around the world.
How Can Qatar Fans Participate?
- Submit your dance or vocal performance videos along with an interview clip by July 18, 2024.
- Email all materials to kangmk1107@mofa.or.kr.
Who Can Participate?
- All residents of Qatar are welcome to join.
- Recommended age: 16 and above.
Evaluation Criteria:
- Videos will be judged based on choreography skills, charm, expressions, and stage control.
- An independent panel will assess submissions.
Important Dates:
- Deadline for submissions: July 18, 2024.
- Regional preliminary results announced by August 11, 2024, on the Embassy’s social media.
Next Steps:
- Winners of the regional preliminary will be forwarded to the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), the host of the main competition.
- Final participants for the main competition will be decided by KBS.
Benefits for Main Competition Participants:
- Airfare and accommodation expenses will be covered for those selected to compete in Changwon.

- قدموا مقاطع فيديو لأداء الرقص أو الغناء بالإضافة إلى مقطع مقابلة بحلول 18 يوليو 2024.
- أرسلوا جميع المواد عبر البريد الإلكتروني إلى kangmk1107@mofa.or.kr.
من يمكنه المشاركة؟
- جميع سكان قطر مدعوون للانضمام.

- سيتم تقديم فائزي التصفيات الإقليمية إلى الهيئة الكورية للبث (KBS)، مضيف الحدث الرئيسي.
- سيتم اختيار المشاركين النهائيين للمسابقة الرئيسية من قبل KBS.

- سيتم تغطية تكاليف السفر والإقامة للمشاركين المختارين للتنافس في تشانغون.
