“Visitors to Souq Waqif have been my beloved audience since I started this journey in 2016. It gives me great joy whenever they tell me that I’ve fulfilled a dream they’ve always had. This makes me very happy,” Attia told The Peninsula.
Attia’s interest in astronomy began in his youth, leading him to build his first telescope in ninth grade. A visit to the Helwan Observatory deepened his passion, prompting him to study optics and astronomy further.
The telescope setup has become a popular attraction at Souq Waqif, with many visitors expressing amazement at the clear views. Children and adults alike enjoy seeing the moon and planets, leaving with unforgettable memories.

بدأ اهتمام عطية بعلم الفلك في شبابه، مما دفعه لبناء أول تلسكوب له في الصف التاسع. زاد شغفه من خلال زيارة إلى مرصد حلوان، مما دفعه لدراسة البصريات وعلم الفلك بعمق أكبر.
