Qatari composer Dana Al Fardan has announced her upcoming performance at the 77th Estate Fiesolana – Teatro Romano di Fiesole, Tuscany, Italy. On July 17, 2024, she will debut her latest musical creation, ‘INDIGO’, to the public.
During a press conference at the Teatro Della Pergola, Florence, Dana confirmed her participation in Italy’s oldest outdoor festival. She will be accompanied by musicians from the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra and La Filharmonie – Filarmonica de Firenze.
The event, set against the backdrop of the ancient Teatro Romano di Fiesole just outside Florence, will also feature artists from the Lyric Dance Company, led by creative director Alberto Canestro. This marks the first public performance by a Gulf artist in the Roman amphitheatre.
Following her recent historic performance as the first Gulf musician at the Trophée Chopard Gala during the 77th Cannes Film Festival, Dana continues to make musical history in Europe with her critically acclaimed ‘INDIGO’.
Combining neoclassical music with electronic elements, ‘INDIGO’ offers an immersive multi-sensory experience, blending sound and color seamlessly.
Dana expressed her excitement about this collaboration, calling it a merging of East and West. She is proud to present ‘INDIGO’, a deeply personal and transformative piece intended to guide audiences on a journey of introspection and enlightenment.
Estate Fiesolana, Italy’s longest-running open-air festival, has been a platform for top-quality musical and theatrical performances since its inception in 1947. Dana’s diverse repertoire, spanning classical and electronic genres, continues to push the boundaries of musical expression on the global stage.

أعلنت الملحنة القطرية دانا الفردان عن مشاركتها القادمة في المهرجان الأوروبي المرموق في النسخة الـ 77 لإيستاتي فيسولانا – تياترو رومانو دي فيسولي، توسكانا، حيث ستقدم أحدث أعمالها الموسيقية “إنديغو” لأول مرة أمام الجمهور في 17 يوليو 2024.
خلال مؤتمر صحفي عُقد في تياترو ديلا بيرجولا، فلورنسا، أكدت دانا أدائها في أقدم المهرجانات الخارجية في إيطاليا، حيث ستكون مصحوبة بموسيقيين من أوركسترا قطر الفيلهارمونية وأوركسترا فيلارمونيكا دي فيرنزي.
وسيشهد هذا الحدث، الذي يقام في محيط تياترو رومانو دي فيسولي خارج فلورنسا، مشاركة فنانين من شركة الرقص الليريكي، بقيادة المدير الإبداعي والمصمم الكوريغرافي ألبيرتو كانيسترو. ويعتبر هذا أول أداء علني لفنان من منطقة الخليج في المدرج الروماني.
بعد أدائها التاريخي الأخير كأول موسيقي خليجي في حفل تروفيه شوبارد الكبير خلال مهرجان كان السينمائي الدولي في دورته الـ77 في مايو، تواصل دانا صنع التاريخ الموسيقي في أوروبا مع أعمالها الحائزة على الإشادة، “إنديغو”.
ويجمع “إنديغو” بين الموسيقى النيوكلاسيكية والعناصر الإلكترونية، ليقدم تجربة متعددة الحواس غنية وجذابة، تمزج الصوت واللون بانسيابية.
عبّرت دانا عن حماسها لهذا التعاون، ووصفته بأنه دمج بين الشرق والغرب. وتفخر بتقديم “إنديغو”، العمل الشخصي العميق والمحوري الذي يهدف إلى توجيه الجمهور في رحلة من التفكير الداخلي والتنوير.
