Qatar to Test Air Taxis and Electric Delivery Planes Early 2025

The Ministry of Transport plans to test electric air taxis and electric delivery planes in early 2025. This initiative is part of Qatar’s strategy to develop an integrated mobility ecosystem.
The Ministry has sought the necessary approvals and is coordinating with relevant Qatari authorities to proceed with these tests.
Introducing air mobility using advanced technologies and artificial intelligence will support Qatar’s transportation sector. This will enhance the integration, coherence, sustainability, and eco-friendliness of the public transit system.
This effort aligns with the Third Qatar National Development Strategy (NDS3), which emphasizes leveraging advanced technologies, achieving sustainable development, and promoting economic diversification. It also supports the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.

تخطط وزارة النقل لاختبار خدمات التاكسي الجوي الكهربائي والطائرات الكهربائية للتوصيل في أوائل عام 2025. تأتي هذه المبادرة ضمن استراتيجية قطر لتطوير نظام نقل متكامل.
وقد تقدمت الوزارة للحصول على جميع الموافقات اللازمة وتنسق مع الجهات القطرية المعنية للمضي قدماً في هذه الاختبارات.
سيساهم إدخال مفهوم النقل الجوي باستخدام التقنيات المتقدمة والذكاء الاصطناعي في دعم قطاع النقل في قطر. وسيعزز ذلك تكامل واستدامة ونظام النقل العام البيئي.
تأتي هذه الجهود تحقيقاً لأهداف الاستراتيجية الوطنية الثالثة للتنمية في قطر (NDS3)، التي تركز على الاستفادة من التقنيات المتقدمة وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة وتنويع الاقتصاد. كما تدعم أهداف رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030.
