Hamad International Airport has once again been named the ‘World’s Best Airport’ at the 2024 Skytrax World Airport Awards, held at the Passenger Terminal Expo 2024 in Frankfurt, Germany. It also secured the title of ‘World’s Best Airport Shopping’ for the second consecutive year and ‘Best Airport in the Middle East’ for the tenth year in a row.
The recognition is based on assessments by air travelers who evaluated the airport’s performance across various indicators, ranking it as the top airport among over 500 global contenders.
Qatar Airways Group CEO, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, praised the achievement, highlighting the airport’s dedication to providing passengers with the best travel experience through continuous investment in facilities and innovative initiatives.
The airport witnessed a significant increase in passenger traffic in 2023, serving over 45 million passengers, marking a 31% rise compared to the previous year. It also welcomed new airline partners and serves over 250 destinations, including passenger, cargo, and chartered flights.
Looking ahead to its 10th year of operations, Hamad International Airport aims to enhance connectivity and support Qatar’s hosting of global events while focusing on sustainability efforts in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.

حصل مطار حمد الدولي مرة أخرى على لقب “أفضل مطار في العالم” في جوائز سكايتراكس العالمية لعام 2024، التي أقيمت في معرض محطة الركاب 2024 في فرانكفورت، ألمانيا. كما حصل على لقب “أفضل مطار للتسوق في العالم” للسنة الثانية على التوالي و”أفضل مطار في الشرق الأوسط” للسنة العاشرة على التوالي.
تستند هذه الإعترافات إلى تقييمات المسافرين الجويين الذين قيموا أداء المطار عبر مؤشرات متعددة، مصنفين إياه كأفضل مطار بين أكثر من 500 متنافس عالمي.
أشاد المدير التنفيذي لمجموعة الخطوط الجوية القطرية، المهندس بدر محمد المير، بالإنجاز، مؤكداً التزام المطار بتوفير أفضل تجربة سفر للمسافرين من خلال الاستثمار المستمر في المرافق والمبادرات المبتكرة.
شهد المطار زيادة كبيرة في حركة المسافرين في عام 2023، حيث خدم أكثر من 45 مليون مسافر، مما يشكل زيادة بنسبة 31٪ مقارنة بالعام السابق. كما رحب بشركاء طيران جدد ويخدم أكثر من 250 وجهة، بما في ذلك الرحلات الركابية والشحن والتأجيرية.
ونظرًا لاقترابه من الذكرى العاشرة لبدء عملياته، يهدف مطار حمد الدولي إلى تعزيز الاتصالات ودعم استضافة قطر للفعاليات العالمية مع التركيز على جهود الاستدامة وفقًا لرؤية قطر الوطنية 2030.
