Qatari Minister Honored with ‘Best Minister Award’ at World Governments Summit in Dubai

Dubai: In presence of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, HE Minister of Public Health Dr. Hanan Mohammed Al Kuwari was honoured with the “Best Minister Award” at the World Governments Summit held in Dubai, on 12-14 February, under the theme “Foreseeing Future Governments”.
HH First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, honoured HE Dr. Hanan Mohammed Al Kuwari with the award in a ceremony that was attended by Their Excellencies representatives of countries, governments, and international and regional institutions.
On this occasion, HE Dr. Hanan Al Kuwari expressed her pride in receiving the prestigious “Best Minister Award”, stating: “Winning this award affirms the leadership of the State of Qatar and government’s outstanding performance thanks to the support and directives of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.”
Her Excellency said that State of Qatar has made great breakthroughs in all fields, and has become a global beacon of comprehensive and sustainable development and building the ideal educated person who’s committed to the values; capable of performing their responsibilities and duties towards their country, citizens and residents and leading the development process efficiently, responsibly and competently thanks to the support of the wise leadership and the inspiring vision of HH the Amir.
HE Minister of Public Health expressed her appreciation to all health workers and all state entities for joint work. “Thanks to their performance and outstanding efforts, the health sector has achieved excellence in providing efficient, sustainable and innovative services to population,” she said.
The Best Minister Award commends the extraordinary work of government ministers at demonstrating excellence in the public sector and their design and implementation of successful, scalable and sustainable initiatives for socio-economic advancement of their citizens.
It also celebrates efforts to inspire and lead other government leaders and service providers towards promoting innovation and foresight in shaping public discourse on global issues of today and tomorrow.
The World Governments Summit is a global knowledge exchange platform between governments. It aims to move humanity towards a new era of responsibility and accountability, as governments take additional steps to better serve citizens.

دبي: بحضور معالي الشيخ محمد بن عبدالرحمن بن جاسم آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية، تم تكريم سعادة الدكتورة حنان محمد الكواري وزير الصحة العامة لفوزها بجائزة أفضل وزير في العالم، وذلك خلال القمة العالمية للحكومات المنعقدة في مدينة دبي بدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة خلال الفترة من 12 إلى 14 فبراير الجاري تحت شعار استشراف حكومات المستقبل.
وكرم سمو الشيخ مكتوم بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، النائب الأول لحاكم دبي نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير المالية، سعادة الدكتورة حنان محمد الكواري بالجائزة، حيث جرت مراسم التكريم بحضور عدد من أصحاب المعالي والسعادة ممثلي الدول والحكومات والمؤسسات الدولية والإقليمية.
وعبرت سعادة الدكتورة حنان محمد الكواري، في تصريح بهذه المناسبة، عن اعتزازها بهذه الجائزة الهامة، وقالت “إن الفوز بالجائزة يؤكد ريادة دولة قطر، والأداء الحكومي المميز في الدولة بفضل دعم وتوجيهات حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى”.
وأشارت إلى أن دولة قطر حققت منجزات عظيمة في جميع المجالات، وباتت نموذجا مميزا يحتذى به عالميا في تحقيق التنمية الشاملة والمستدامة، وبناء الإنسان المتعلم الصحيح الملتزم بالقيم والقادر على أداء مسؤولياته وواجباته تجاه الوطن والمواطنين والمقيمين، وقيادة مسيرة التنمية بكفاءة ومسؤولية واقتدار بفضل دعم القيادة الحكيمة والرؤية الملهمة لحضرة صاحب السمو أمير البلاد المفدى.
وأعربت سعادة وزير الصحة العامة عن شكرها لجميع العاملين في القطاع الصحي وجميع الجهات بالدولة للعمل المشترك، مؤكدة أنه بفضل أدائهم وجهودهم المخلصة حقق هذا القطاع الريادة في تقديم خدماته بكفاءة عالية لخدمة السكان وامتازت خدماته بالاستدامة والابتكار.
يذكر أن جائزة أفضل وزير في العالم تسلط الضوء على الجهود الاستثنائية لوزراء الحكومات حول العالم من أجل تعزيز التميز في القطاع الحكومي، وتطبيق مبادرات ناجحة وقابلة للتطوير ومستدامة تساهم في النهوض الاجتماعي والاقتصادي لمواطنيها، وتحتفي كذلك بالجهود المبذولة لإلهام غيرهم من المسؤولين الحكوميين ومقدمي الخدمات من أجل تعزيز الابتكار وزيادة المعرفة بتقديم الخطاب العام حول القضايا العالمية في وقتنا الحاضر والمستقبل.
