Arti Workshops at Katara International Arabian Horse Festival Attract Equestrian Enthusiasts

Doha: The fourth edition of the Katara International Arabian Horse Festival celebrates the heritage of the horse and its artistic aesthetics that inspire creativity, through a group of diverse artistic workshops held on Katara Corniche with the participation of 8 artists.

These workshops aim to present works of art inspired by the heritage and aesthetics of horses as well as to provide a space for all amateurs and lovers of equestrianism and its rich heritage to develop their talents and spread their creations in various art forms.

Head of the Art Exhibitions Department at Katara and supervisor of the artistic workshop activities at the fourth edition of the Katara Arabian Horse Festival, Hayya Al Mohannadi, explained that the workshops seek to attract all age groups of different nationalities, pointing out that the artistic workshops begin their activities under the supervision of an elite group of professional artists from three oclock until ten in the evening, until the festival concludes on February 11.

Al Mohannadi pointed out that the topics of the artistic workshops range from cutting paper-mache in the shape of horses and horses and coloring them, and the art of printing on fabric bags, in addition to a nails and thread workshop to enable participants to master the manufacture of paintings and medals in the shape of a horseshoe or its head, in addition to workshops that combine coloring, drawing, and calligraphy, in which the artist writes names by combining letters and shapes of birds and horses.

She stressed that the workshops accompanying the festival aim to develop the artistic talents of the target groups and advance the plastic and applied arts that express the beauty and originality of horses and are inspired by their ancient history, noting the valuable opportunities that these artistic workshops provide for promising talents to practice their hobbies and develop their creativity in open spaces and amusing and encouraging family atmosphere.

Katara’s activities accompanying the Qatar Asian Cup 2023 continue at Katara amid a remarkable public turnout and widespread praise for the diverse cultural program full of entertainment and educational activities and artistic events that celebrate the culture and heritage of Qatar and the countries of Asia.

الدوحة: تحتفي النسخة الرابعة لمهرجان كتارا الدولي للخيل العربية بتراث الخيل وجمالياته الفنية الملهمة للإبداع، وذلك عبر مجموعة من الورش الفنية المتنوعة التي تقام على كورنيش كتارا بمشاركة 8 فنانين.

وتهدف هذه الورش إلى تقديم اعمال فنية مستوحاة من تراث الخيل وجمالياتها بالإضافة الى اتاحة المجال لجميع الهواة ومحبي الفروسية وتراثها العريق لتنمية مواهبهم ونثر ابداعاتهم في مختلف أصناف الفنون.

وأوضحت حيية المهندي رئيس قسم المعارض بكتارا والمشرفة على فعاليات الورش الفنية بالنسخة الرابعة لمهرجان كتارا للخيل العربية أن الورش تسعى لاستقطاب جميع الفئات العمرية من مختلف الجنسيات، لافتة الى أن الورش الفنية تبدأ أنشطتها بإشراف نخبة من الفنانين المحترفين من الساعة الثالثة وحتى العاشرة مساء، وذلك حتى ختام المهرجان في 11 فبراير الجاري.

وأشارت المهندي إلى أن موضوعات الورش الفنية تتنوع ما بين قص الورق المعجن على شكل أحصنة وخيول وتلوينها، وورشة فن الطباعة على الحقائب القماشية، إلى جانب ورشة المسامير والخيط لتمكين للمشاركين من اتقان صناعة لوحات وميداليات على شكل حدوة حصان أو رأسه، بالإضافة الى ورش تجمع بين التلوين والرسم والخط والتي يكتب فيها الفنان الأسماء بالمزج بين الحروف وأشكال الطيور والأحصنة.

وأكدت المهندي أن الورش الفنية المصاحبة للمهرجان تهدف إلى تنمية المواهب الفنية لدى الفئات المستهدفة و الارتقاء بالفنون التشكيلية والتطبيقية التي تعبر عن جمال الخيل وأصالتها وتستوحي تاريخها العريق، منوهة بما تمنحه هذه الورش الفنية من فرص قيمة أمام المواهب الواعدة للممارسة هواياتهم وتنمية ابداعاتهم في فضاءات مفتوحة وأجواء عائلية واسرية ممتعة ومشجعة .

يشار الى أن فعاليات كتارا المصاحبة لكأس آسيا قطر 2023 تتواصل بكتارا وسط اقبال جماهيري لافت وإشادة واسعة بالبرنامج الثقافي المتنوع والحافل بالأنشطة الترفيهية والتثقيفية والفعاليات الفنية التي تحتفي بثقافة وتراث قطر ودول آسيا .
