Microsoft Tests New Sound Quality Feature during Calls in Windows 11

Washington: Microsoft is testing a new feature in Windows 11 that improves sound quality while making calls via computers.

Microsoft said on its official website that the Voice Clarity feature works in the background and contributes to improving sound in real time during calls, by canceling background noise and echo, based on low-complexity artificial intelligence (AI) models.

Microsoft is testing the new feature in the latest beta version of Windows 11 to make it available on all devices without the need for special specifications, noting that this feature is already available in Microsoft Surface devices, such as Surface Pro X and Surface Pro 9 5G.

The Voice Clarity feature works at the system level with all applications that use the communication signal processing mode, such as call applications, online meetings, and voice chats in many popular games, which means that it can be used without waiting for developers to support it in their applications.

Microsoft, Qualcomm, Intel, and AMD are cooperating to take advantage of AI mechanisms in computers to improve the user experience, with promises of other additions in the future, with the development of hardware hardware and reliance on chips dedicated to AI.

The latest beta version of Windows 11 provides other benefits, such as instant access to photos and screenshots on connected Android devices, updating the Windows installation interface, and also adds support for the high-speed USB4 standard.

وتختبر /مايكروسوفت/ الميزة الجديدة في الإصدار التجريبي الأخير من نظام ويندوز 11 لتتيحها في كافة الأجهزة دون الحاجة إلى مواصفات خاصة، علما بأن تلك الميزة متاحة بالفعل في أجهزة مايكروسوفت سيرفيس، مثل سيرفيس برو إكس (Surface Pro X)، وسيرفيس برو 9 (Surface Pro 9 5G).

وتعمل ميزة وضوح الصوت Voice Clarity على مستوى النظام مع كافة التطبيقات التي تستخدم وضع (معالجة إشارات الاتصالات) كتطبيقات المكالمات والاجتماعات عبر الإنترنت والدردشات الصوتية في كثير من الألعاب الشائعة، مما يعني أنه يمكن الاستفادة منها دون انتظار المطورين لدعمها في تطبيقاتهم.

وتتعاون شركات مايكروسوفت وكوالكوم وإنتل وAMD من أجل الاستفادة من آليات الذكاء الاصطناعي في أجهزة الحاسوب لتحسين تجربة المستخدم، مع وعود بإضافات أخرى مستقبلا، مع تطوير عتاد الأجهزة والاعتماد على رقاقات مخصصة للذكاء الاصطناعي.

ويوفر الإصدار التجريبي الأخير من نظام ويندوز 11 مزايا أخرى مثل إمكانية الوصول الفوري إلى الصور ولقطات الشاشة في أجهزة أندرويد المتصلة، وتحديث واجهة تنصيب نظام ويندوز، كما يضيف أيضا دعما لمعيار USB4 العالي السرعة.
