Microsoft Makes Copilot AI Assistant, New Paid Version of Copilot Pro Available

Washington: Microsoft announced the availability of its artificial intelligence (AI) assistant Copilot to all small, medium, and large companies and institutions.

Microsoft made this smart assistant available to its major corporate clients at the end of 2023. Specifically, companies participating in the Enterprise E3 and E5 plans, with a requirement of at least 300 users.

Microsoft announced the removal of the previous conditions in terms of subscription to major plans and the minimum number of users to target a large segment of its customers from companies of different sizes but maintained the same price for each user in any plan and was able to attract many major companies to its plans supported by generative AI capabilities, including Visa, Pfizer, BP, Honda, KPMG, and others.

In a related context, Microsoft officially announced the availability of a new paid version of its AI assistant called Copilot Pro in exchange for a monthly subscription for users with multiple benefits. Most notably, it provides deep integration and generative AI capabilities in the Microsoft 365 Office suite of applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and others.

Copilot assistant is based primarily on the models of OpenAI, which develops the famous chatbot ChatGPT, and Microsoft follows suit in making its assistant available for free and paid versions to regular users, in addition to a special version for businesses.

واشنطن: أعلنت شركة مايكروسوفت إتاحة مساعد الذكاء الاصطناعي الخاص بها (كوبيلوت Copilot) لكافة الشركات والمؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة والكبيرة.

وكانت مايكروسوفت قد أتاحت هذا المساعد الذكي لعملائها من الشركات الكبرى نهاية العام الماضي، وتحديدا الشركات المشتركة في خطط (إنتربرايس) من نوع (E3 و E5) مع اشتراط وجود 300 مستخدم على الأقل.

وأعلنت مايكروسوفت إزالة الشروط السابقة من ناحية الاشتراك في الخطط الكبرى والحد الأدنى من المستخدمين لاستهداف شريحة كبيرة من عملائها من الشركات المختلفة الحجم، لكنها حافظت على السعر نفسه الذي تقدمه لكل مستخدم في أي خطة، واستطاعت جذب العديد من الشركات الكبرى إلى خططها المدعومة بقدرات الذكاء الاصطناعي التوليدي، ومنها فيزا وفايزر و BP وهوندا و KPMG وغيرها.

وفي سياق متصل أعلنت شركة مايكروسوفت رسميا إتاحة إصدار جديد مأجور من مساعد الذكاء الاصطناعي الخاص بها باسم (كوبيلوت برو Copilot Pro) مقابل اشتراك شهري للمستخدمين مع مزايا متعددة، أبرزها إتاحة التكامل العميق وقدرات الذكاء الاصطناعي التوليدي في حزمة تطبيقات مايكروسوفت 365 المكتبية التي تضم تطبيقات وورد وباوربوينت وإكسل وأوت لوك وغيرها.

ومن الجدير بالذكر أن مساعد Copilot يعتمد بالأساس على نماذج شركة OpenAI التي تطور روبوت الدردشة الشهير ChatGPT، وتحذو مايكروسوفت حذوها في إتاحة مساعدها الخاص بنسخة مجانية وأخرى مأجورة للمستخدمين العاديين، بالإضافة إلى إصدار خاص بالشركات.
