QDB: Allocation of Several Commercial Shops in Al Azzab, Al Furjan Markets

Doha: Qatar Development Bank (QDB) announced a new initiative in the Al Furjan and Al Azzab markets projects, under which it would offer the opportunity to benefit from the allocation of a number of commercial shops through public bidding, according to conditions and requirements that would be announced later.

QDB said that the new initiative would take place after exhausting the backup lists for these shops and activities and that it comes within the framework of working to develop the allocation process to optimally utilize the shops in terms of ensuring the diversity of services and meeting the needs of the people of the areas concerned and supporting the beneficiaries of the services of the Al Furjan and Al Azzab markets that the bank supervises.

QDB pointed out that public bidding would be launched for up to 75 available commercial shops, and the application window would open on Jan. 3 and continue until Jan. 21, through Aswaq real estate management company, affiliated with QDB.

Regarding the activities approved in Al Furjan markets, QDB indicated that work had previously been done to add new activities to meet the necessary needs of the people of the areas, as there are currently 42 approved commercial activities for practice in Al Furjan markets and 14 approved activities in Al Azzab markets, and the tenant has the freedom to choose the activity suitable for them, provided that the policy of changing and repeating activities in the markets is taken into account.

The projects of Al Furjan and Al Azzab Markets were launched in cooperation with several government sectors to contribute to the economic and urban renaissance of the country. They consist of integrated commercial markets established on government lands and extending over different areas distributed in separate residential areas and aim to support the commercial and service sectors in the country as part of the development and renaissance of urban areas.

الدوحة: أعلن بنك قطر للتنمية عن مبادرة جديدة في مشاريع أسواق الفرجان والعزب، سيطرح بموجبها فرصة الاستفادة من تخصيص عدد من المحلات التجارية بالمزايدة العلنية، وفق شروط ومتطلبات سيعلن عنها لاحقا.

وقال البنك إن المبادرة الجديدة ستتم بعد استنفاد قوائم الاحتياط لهذه المحلات وللأنشطة، وأنها تأتي في إطار العمل على تطوير عملية التخصيص لاستغلال المحلات بالشكل الأمثل من حيث ضمان تنوع الخدمات وتلبية احتياجات أهالي المناطق المعنية، ودعم المستفيدين من خدمات أسواق الفرجان والعزب التي يشرف عليها البنك.

وأشار إلى أنه سيتم طرح المزايدة العلنية لما يصل إلى 75 محلا تجاريا متاحا، حيث سيُفتح باب التقديم يوم 3 يناير المقبل ويستمر حتى 21 منه، عن طريق شركة أسواق العقارية لإدارة الأصول التابعة لبنك قطر للتنمية.

وفيما يخص الأنشطة المعتمدة في أسواق الفرجان، أوضح البنك أنه تم العمل سابقا على إضافة أنشطة جديدة لتلبية الاحتياجات الضرورية لأهالي المناطق، حيث يوجد حاليا 42 نشاطا تجاريا معتمدا للمزاولة في أسواق الفرجان، و14 نشاطا معتمدا في أسواق العزب، كما أن للمستأجر الحرية في اختيار النشاط الملائم له بشرط مراعاة سياسة تغيير وتكرار الأنشطة في الأسواق.

وقد أطلقت مشاريع أسواق الفرجان وأسواق العزب بالتعاون مع عدد من القطاعات الحكومية، للمساهمة في النهضة الاقتصادية والعمرانية للدولة، وتتكون من أسواق تجارية متكاملة تقام على أراض حكومية وتمتد على مساحات مختلفة موزعة في مناطق سكنية متفرقة، وتهدف إلى دعم القطاع التجاري والخدمي في البلاد كجزء من تطوير ونهضة المناطق العمرانية.

وحرص بنك قطر للتنمية منذ توليه الإشراف على مشاريع أسواق الفرجان في العام 2016، على الانتقال بها إلى آفاق جديدة، وبلغ عدد المحال التجارية في هذه الأسواق خلال العام نفسه 645 محلا تجاريا، تمت بعدها إضافة 70 محلا في النسخة الثانية عام 2019، وأخيرا إضافة 130 محلا تجاريا في النسخة الثالثة لأسواق الفرجان في عام 2020، وهو نفس العام الذي تم فيه تدشين مشروع أسواق العزب للمرة الأولى بعدد محلات تجارية قارب الـ 30 محلا، وذلك لخدمة مجمعات العزب، حيث يبلغ إجمالي عدد الأسواق الحالية بمشروع أسواق الفرجان 62 سوقا، بالإضافة إلى 3 أسواق من أسواق العزب.
